The players are enjoying themselves StarRuptures huge open world map, but when they try to open their HUD to know their exact location, they can end up scratching their heads, because the map is nowhere to be found.
So, where is map in StarRupture? Here's how to unlock one of the most important techniques in the game, as well as a quick method to make it possible before you get lost in Arcadia-7.
How to unlock the map in StarRupture
Players dropping into Arcadia-7 for the first time ever might think that something is wrong with the HUD, then the map is nowhere to be found. But that's because they have to unlock it first, and to unlock it they have to learn the basics of producing materials, crafting, and creating a supply line to deliver goods to the orbital station.
To unlock the map, players need to reach faction level 3 with Moon Energy Corporation, and to achieve that, players must meet one of these two requirements:

Deliver 500 Calcium Ores using the Orbital Launch Station

Deliver 1500 data points via the enterprise terminal
Of these two methods, the most simple and easy is the second one. Farming data points is easy if you know how, just delivering some meteorite cores or ignitium to the analysis terminal can yield 1500 data points really quickly.
The first method requires players to set one Extractor on one Wolfram Vein, connect it with a smelterand an entire production line ending in the Orbital Launcher Station to deliver the Wolfram Wires of establish a commission for Moon Energy Corpwait a while until the delivery is ready to reach level 3.
Once this is done, all players need to do is go to the enterprise terminal and collect the rewards to unlock the map. Now, each time they press Mthey will be able to see the explored map. But there is one more thing they must do to unlock the entire area, and that is to connect their maps with Geo Scanners.
Geo Scanners are special antennas scattered around Arcadia-7, which will instantly reveal a large part of the map (a radius of 350 meters), but there is a catch: Players must activate and defend them from pests until the scanning process is complete.
Blue volatile vermin release a cloud of toxic gas that compromises your shields. Shoot them with the pistol before they get close or they will render you helpless and swarm you in seconds.
Approach a Geo Scanner marked on the map with an antenna icon, then activate it to begin the survey. The device will produce a loud sound that attracts between two and five waves of pests.
Once the process is complete, players will notice that a large circular section of the map has been revealed, along with any points of interest. So go ahead and try to unlock all the Geo Scanners to reveal as much of Arcadia-7 as possible. Just remember to be back at your base before the world extinction event known as the Rupture hits, unless you want to be a toasted pioneer.
