As the popular Crownfall event now nears the end of its stay, Valve has decided to reach out to the community with one last hurray to say the farewell it deserves. After working their way through the treacherous overworld and defeating Queen Imperia in the final Nest of Thorns minigame, players can now sit back and enjoy fun gameplay in the Frostivus event in Dota 2.

While the event doesn't add any new mini-games for you to complete, there are some nice rewards you can pick up right now by completing certain tasks. In this guide, we'll go over everything you need to know about unlocking the rewards in this year's Frostivus i Dota 2.

How to unlock Frostivus rewards in Dota 2

Players must collect some special ingredients called Festive Infusions during their games to unlock the various rewards in the Frostivus event in Dota 2. There are a total of five infusions that players can collect, each requiring them to complete different tasks.

The following table shows you what you must do to collect these unique event-specific items Dota 2.

Crystallized joy	Win matches	+30	Simply win games in any of the game modes Dota 2 during the Frostivus event.
	Collect Bounty Runes	+1	Collect Bounty Runes that periodically appear on the map. You will earn one point for each Bounty Rune you collect in a game.
	Dead couriers	+4	Choose heroes like Bounty Hunter, Nature's Prophet or even Storm Spirit to easily kill enemy couriers.
The essence of friendship	Play in a party	+10	Invite a friend or guild member to join your party when you find a game.
	Heal allied heroes	+0.0002	Choose healer supports like Winter Wyvern or Abaddon to heal your allies.
	Get Assist	+1	Help your teammate secure the last hit on an enemy to get assists in a game.
	High Five After Hero Kill	+2	Use the High-Five button (Ctrl + J) with your teammate after killing an enemy hero.
	High Five enemies	+2	Press the High-Five button if you see the High-Five symbol above an enemy hero's head.
Concentrated Whimsy	Steal hats	+5	Each time a hero is killed during the Frostivus event, they receive a stack of Frostivus hats. You can steal it by going near the enemy hero and clicking the Spirit of Frostivus button (Ctrl + C).
	Get Kills	+1	Earned by killing enemy heroes.
	Damage enemy heroes	+0.0001	Choose damage dealers like Husker to deal as much damage as possible to enemy heroes.
Festive Spirit	Give tips	+4	Tip an enemy hero during gameplay.
	Receive tips	+4	Both ally and enemy tips count towards earning you a point.
	Hit Hero with Snowball Before Kill	+10	Before killing an enemy hero, use the snowball ability on them (Ctrl +R).
	Bump Penguins	+0.5	Summon a penguin by using the Summon Penguin (Ctrl + R) ability and walk into it to give it a shock.
	Build a snowman before first blood	+5	Use the Build Snowman ability (Ctrl + W) when the game starts before fighting the enemy heroes.

Dota 2 Frostivus 2025 Reward Levels and Crafting

Players can access all rewards available during the event by clicking the Frostivus Forge button from the main menu in Dota 2. The rewards are divided into six tiers, each containing a different type of in-game item for you to claim, be it seasonal voice lines or the unique treasure chest.

There is a limit to the number of rewards you can create in each level.
