Heatwave (Tactical Force)
This is the ability to you will use the most. Heatwave lets you throw a wave of fire going through walls and objectsand it can reach quite far. To use it, you need to direct a straight line towards the ground.
Once activated, the fire will go in that direction, regardless of obstacles. Any enemy standing on the line will take damage. Also, it can be used to change the view a bit (you can't see through the scales).
Incendiary Bomb (Passive Power)
Slade's passive is pretty simple. Instead of a regular grenade, he has an incendiary bomb, which works almost exactly like a grenade: the good part is that when it explodes it spreads magma all around area of the explosion and causes continuous damage to enemies touching it.
Firestorm (Ultimate Power)
When it comes to his Ultimate, Slade can mark a large area on the ground, and fire projectiles will drop into that area. They attack both enemies and buildings.
You will see an orange circle marking the area that will be affected and move around it. But beware that you are left vulnerable, with no chance to attack, while doing so.
Tips for playing as Slade
When using Slade, you have to go all-in. His heatwave is a great tool that can help you in any kind of battle you have. Is the enemy taking cover? Damage them and make them come out by aiming it through the lid. Do you see the enemy coming, but they haven't started shooting? Use Heatwave to mess with their visibility and gain the upper hand.
That's a really versatile ability you must master as soon as possible to win every duel you have, or at least to make enemies move away from their comfortable spots.
You might think so his ultimate will take down enemies that stay in a specific zone, but I'd say it's not really for that. While it will probably hurt them (and every single hit counts), there aren't many fire projectiles that fall at once, and they are slow. What this ability is really useful for is raiding.
Once inside your enemy's base, you activate Firestorm on a building you want to help destroyand your ability will begin to get the job done. You can also use it as a decoycausing the rival team to think you're going to attack one point, but you're actually going to the other.
There isn't much to say Incendiary. Use it wherever you see fit, but of course, it is much more effective inside buildings — especially near generators, since you'll probably kill anyone who tries to arm or disarm bombs.
