After the opening cutscene in Resident Evil Requiemplayers will be able to play as Grace and get a feel for the game. By default, Grace's gameplay is set to first-person to create a creepier atmosphere. You can change this in the settings if you prefer a more open game view.
During the first game sequence, players will enter the game Wrenwood Hotelwhere Grace needs to analyze the latest victim of the infection that the FBI is investigating. When players go up to the second floor, they will find a locked emergency exit door. Players who are curious about how to open this door need not worry, as the guide below offers a short but precise way to find the key in Resident Evil 9.
Resident Evil Requiem: How to Get a Gun When Playing as Grace
Those starting out in Resident Evil Requiem will want to know exactly when they can get a default gun when playing as Grace.
How to open the emergency exit door (Rec Room) in Resident Evil Requiem
After interacting with the emergency exit door in the Rec Room upstairs, you will realize that you have no items in your inventory that can unlock it. For now you have to go through the main story. Next to the emergency exit is another locked room, but this one has wires around the handle.
Turn around to see a box of Wire Cutters lying on the pool table. Grab them, unlock the door and make your way to room 204. Ignore everything else in the room and interact with the many images spread out on the bed. One of them should trigger a flashback sequence where Grace is in the same hotel room with her mother.
Play through this section and when it's over your objective will change. You need to go down to the lobby, move the cart next to the paintingand interact with it to find some files.
As soon as you back out, a cutscene with the police from outside plays. During the fight, a key falls to the floorand Grace automatically retrieves it. With the key in your possession, go upstairs, run away from the zombie and open the emergency exit door to start the next section of the game.
