The Thermal Breach Camo is definitely one of the more elusive camos of the two Black Ops 7 and War zoneas the requirements to unlock it are not specified in the game. However, while the camera itself is visible in-game, players will have to wait a bit before they can unlock the Thermal Breach Camo for themselves.
Thermal Breach Camo is a reward tied to Iron Gauntlet, a limited-time game mode that comes in War zone closer to the middle of Season 2. To unlock the Thermal Breach Camo, players must win three matches of the Iron Gauntlet with a total of 25 kills or more. This information comes from credible leaker RealityUK, who shared the camo unlock requirements over on the X.
When will the Iron Gauntlet be released in Call of Duty: Warzone?
According to the official patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2, Iron Gauntlet is coming will be launched in Beta on March 5 at 9 a.m. PT and will be will be played until March 9 at 9 a.m. PT. This gives players just four days to try out the mode and then unlock the Thermal Breach Camo, although the mode may well return at a later date. According to the patch notes, despite the fact that the Iron Gauntlet was originally planned as one War zone Ranked play mode this is no longer the case.
The Iron Gauntlet will support duo squad sizes and take players to Verdansk, with a total of 150 players. The Gulag is also completely removed, and players will not be able to get free Loadout drops, instead relying on accumulating enough money to purchase one.
