Seashells are a rare resource i Pokopia which players can use to craft seashell lamps and other decorative items. Unlike other resources, which can be farmed, bought, or found in multiple locations, seashells are only found on beaches in Pokopia. Because of this, players often have to go out of their way to collect them when they appear. There are three places players can get Seashells, including

• Ocean Dream Island,

• Bleak Beach,

• and Pallet Town.

These areas all have coastal environments where seashells naturally spawn along the coast or in sandy areas.

How to get seashells in Pokopia

There are several areas that players can unlock and explore in Pokopiaand each has a different climate, Pokemon, Habitat and resources. Some regions are dense forests filled with Bug-type Pokémon, while others are rocky wastelands or grassy plains with completely different habitats to restore. Seashells only spawn near oceans along the coast, which are not available when players first start the game.

Since early parts of the game are mostly inland, players have to progress through the story and unlock new routes before they can start collecting them. The first one that players will most likely get access to is Pallet Town.

Pallet Town

To access Pallet Town, players must go to the west side of the Withered Wasteland near the sea, where they will find a broken bridge. Lay down any type of flooring to fill the gap and cross.

Once the bridge is repaired, players can travel to the other side and begin exploring the new area. Pallet Town acts as a coastal hub that opens up more gameplay options, including multiplayer features and beach resource gathering. Since the bridge only requires a simple floor tile to repair, players can unlock the area fairly early once they reach the withered wasteland.

Pallet Town is fully customizable for players, including its name, and it's where they can invite their friends for multiplayer games. This makes it one of the most social places in Pokopiaas players can design the layout of the city, decorate it with crafted furniture and create a unique environment for visiting friends. Due to its open layout and customizable features, many players choose to build decorative items there, including the seashell lamps made from the seashells they collect.

There also happens to be a beach there, and players can find seashells and sea glass shards along it. These items spawn along the sandy coastline and can be picked up as you walk along the coast. Players may need to search the entire beach to find each seashell, as they can sometimes blend into the sand or appear near rocks and other beach debris.

Bleak Beach

Because trainer rank increases as players complete tasks and help characters around Pokopiamost players will unlock Bleak Beach simply by continuing to progress through the game. Once the rank requirement is met, the Area Gate becomes available and players can travel to the beach to search for resources.

Bleak Beach has rare water-type Pokémon that players can find when searching for seashells. Players who bring water Pokémon may have an easier time exploring, especially when dealing with environmental obstacles scattered around the beach.

Seashells are found in the sand areas and also when players are cleaning up dirt with a water-type Pokémon following them. Clearing dirt can reveal hidden items beneath it, including seashells and other useful resources. Because of this mechanic, players should take the time to explore Bleak Beach and clean up as much of the coastline as possible.

Ocean Dream Island

Finally, players can find seashells by visiting Ocean Dream Island. The Dream Islands are special areas that players visit by giving Drifloon a Pokedoll. Each Pokedoll is linked to a certain Dream Island, and players will need a Pikachu doll to go to Ocean Dream Island. There are seven other Dream Islands that players can visit, so keep an eye out for Pokedolls.
