Paper can be surprisingly elusive Pokemon Pokopia. It seems simple, but it's a pretty late game option to try to create. To make paper, you need specific Pokemon and materials, and there are a few places where you can find exactly what you need.
Whether you want to find materials on a dream island or try to collect them yourself, you'll need to get some things to create paper for quests and crafts you want to complete later. Here's how to get everything you need to make paper, and all the Pokemon you can use to make it.
How to make paper
To make paper, you need to find the original resource, waste paper, which will be scattered in the environment. You must also have access to a Pokemon friend who has the Recycle specialty.
Where to find waste paper
First you have to find waste paperwhich is coming play in two places:
- Sparkling Skylands
- The dream islands
You can also sometimes find waste paper in Palette Town.
When you have access to Sparkling Skylandsyou will see recycled paper that is littered around dustbins and other rubbish for you to collect. We most often found waste paper lying around elevated areas on the towers.
If you need more, fastest way to collect waste paper is that travel to a dream island.
More specifically, the dream island from Dragonite doll takes you to an island that has
- Waste paper
- Poke Metal
- Crystal fragments

How to turn waste paper into paper
Once you have waste paper, take your bundles to any Pokémon with the recycling specialty. Show them the trash and they will ask if you want turn it into paper. Select the amount and they will start the process.
The earliest Pokémon you find with the Recycle specialty are:
Fixed any Pokemon with Recycle will dothese two can be previously found on Bleak Beach. You should already have a Trubbish that you can take waste paper to turn into paper, after completing the Bleak Beach quests, to gain access to Sparkling Skysands.
What to do with paper
When you have paper, you will be able to complete multiple missions late in the game in Sparkling Skysands. You will also learn recipe on a mini bookshelf and be able to make other furniture options. You need paper to complete Team Initiation Challenge also.
