It won't take you much playing StarRupture to realize that the main development revolves around you producing lots of different items and delivering them to the companies of your choice. These items give you points, which help you unlock additional items and become stronger overall.
However, not all items can be simply created by extracting various in-game resources. As you will notice during the mid-to-late game, some of the items you need to supply require a specific blueprint if you want to start producing them. These blueprints can largely be found by exploring the map.
StarRupture is in Early Access, and the content of this article is subject to change.
Also, we will be adding more drawing recipes to this as we unlock the necessary buildings!
Where to find blueprints
Unfortunately, if you're missing the blueprints for a specific item, there isn't a location you can just visit to get it as these blueprint locations are randomized for each player. However, you can narrow your search by knowing where to find them. Essentially, blueprints can only be found in the abandoned bases scattered across the map.
When you get close to these bases, you'll see a home icon on the map that resembles your habitat. Each base will belong to a specific company and have a unique name. Once you are in these bases, you are looking for a specific blue colored storage containerwhich is usually found in the innermost building.
If a building is locked, you should always look for another way Insideas these are usually the ones with the necessary storage box.
Each time you open a blue storage box inside the abandoned bases, you will receive one or more blueprints for your items. You can too get a copy of the blueprint you already have if you have used it at the Recipe Station. To avoid this, you usually want to only use these blueprints when necessary and try to get them all first.
In our experience, the blueprints for earlier items are unlocked in bases near the Orbital Lander, while late game items can be found in distant bases, with Forgotten Engine is one of the best places to get the last ones.

All Blueprint Unlock Recipes
Once you have obtained the blueprint of a particular item, you can unlock it for production through the recipe station as long as you have the building that produces it unlocked. Once you've unlocked one of these items by putting in a bunch of the necessary ingredients, you can start producing them with those same ingredients.
Here's everything you need to unlock the production of each blueprint item:
