Mistveil Forest is an area of Kaifeng in Where winds meet which is enveloped in a mysterious mist. Standing in this mist for even a second will inflict a deadly toxin on you, which has no known cure.
Fortunately, through the Ephemeral Blight Encounter quest, you'll be able to find a cure for the toxin, uncover the forest, and eventually gain access to the Ghost Master World Boss. Below we walk you through each step of this mission.
How to start the ephemeral hernia

The walkthrough of Ephemeral Blight
Talk to Zhai Xu to learn more about the situation, then try searching for more information. Before you can continue, you need to distract Zhai Xu. Use Meridian Touch on the wind chime outside the windowthen collect the two clues when he leaves the house.
Talk to Zhai Xu again and then leave his residence. Open your bag and read the Thousand-Wish Amendmentwhere you will learn that you can cure the poison mist from Dawn-to-Dusk, but only if you collect cures from Hollow Abode and Aureate Pavilion factions in the forest.
Hollow Abode
The Hollow Abode's base is on westernmost side of the forest. This is also a Skill Theft location for Soulshade umbrellaso that you become invisible when you approach.
Luckily, you don't have to go far to get the note. Enter the window on the second floor of the main building that is go down the stairs on the right. The patch is on the table directly at the end of the stairs.
Aureate Pavilion
The Aureate Pavilion patch is on northeastern part of the mapto east of the North Mistveil Forest Boundary Stone. This is also an outpost, so you can easily see the place already.
Kill the enemies in the outpost then find the cure in the main buildingon the table to the left of the entrance.
Return to Wishing Cove
When you have all three cures (Hollow Abode, Aureate Pavilion, and Wishing Cove), return to Wishing Cove and submit the cures (along with the borrowed manuscript) to Zhai Xu. Then, wait two days.
Enter Zhai Xu's house and then read the letter he left for you. Now follow him to the hut near North Mistveil Forest Boundary Stonethen talk to him there.
He will give you the prototype of the antidote to the toxin, so you can go deeper into the forest. As you explore, stand near fire to reduce the power of the toxin.
Follow the trail of braziers to a group of Aureate Pavilion guards and then defeat them.
Be careful when fighting not to go too far from the fireotherwise the fog will start killing you.
Sun Buqi's lair
After dealing with the guards, go a little further, then use fire arrows to destroy the Dawn-to-Dusk Blossomsopens the path into the tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a clearing, then investigate the four locations in the area.
Then use fire arrows to destroy three flowerscausing sleeping dolls to fall from the tree. Defeat them and then investigate Silver Needle Folding Fan.
Follow the mysterious figure and then enter the hidden lair. A short while after you enter, you will be ambushso be ready to dodge. Continue forward then destroy the two flowersthen fight one group of sleeping dolls.
Then, destroy three more Blossomsthen enter the clearing. Get Sun Buqi's notes from the left tablethen you have to put everything together.
