You've finally upgraded your workbench and are ready to craft new, sturdier tools and weapons. You open the menu to see one of the required resources for some of them is the Knoroot Rod. Where to find Knoroot
Knotroot appear exactly as the name suggests, like curled knotted roots, and are always found near Marmor. Knotroot can only be found in the grasslands. There are mostly inside the cavesbut as part of the Odyssey update, it can now be also found in the overworld of grasslands.
Be careful when you start looking for caves not to end up in an ice cave. Entering an ice cave without proper protection will drain your health in seconds.
In addition, bring torches, a sword and a shieldas the caves are both dark and full of skeletons, spiders, scorpions, scrolls and more.
As of the Odyssey update, you can now harvest Knotroot with a regular wood ax or better. Tools such as axes can be crafted at your crafting bench. With Odyssey's Component-based Crafting, there is more flexibility in what materials you can use when crafting.
How to Make Knoroot Staves
When you have Knoroot firewood, you can use the lumber millwhich can be crafted with 40 Wood, to create Knotroot Staves. With these rare rods you will now be able to craft sturdier tools and weapons.
