How to Do No Good Deed in Ready or Not: Boiling Point

Boiling Point introduces three new missions in Ready or not. As you'd expect, these are intense scenarios where you have to work your way through, take down menacing enemies and save the innocent civilians who were unlucky enough to be nearby. One of these missions is No Good Deed, and it takes place in an amusement park on a pier.

There's nothing fun about this mission though, as things can go wrong pretty quickly. Also, your enemies are using chemical weapons against your team. Let's go over some tips on how to complete No Good Deed in Ready or Not: Boiling Point.

This guide is based on the standard online game difficulty.

No Good Deed Mission Objectives

No Good Deed in Mission Select Menu Ready or Not.

Your two main goals in No Good Deed are to bring order to chaos and save all civilians. For the former, you must take down seven enemiesand for the latter, you have to save 11 civilians.

This mission has an extra side goal which you should fill in if you are trying to get a better ranking: Report the chemical weapons. Basically you have to go into a room in an arcade and find some items on a table. (We'll go over this below.)

No points of interest for good deeds

In the picture above you can see where we have located possible enemy spawn points and those for civilians. Use these as references, as they change each time you play the mission – although we've found some to be very consistent.

If you can't see the picture, don't worry! Below is the list of relevant points of interest, explained as if you entered from the main entrance:

  • The big slide on the left. You will find mostly civilians here.
  • The game Shark Mouths. Here is usually a score for both hostiles and civilians.
  • The little path after Shark Mouths, before the next attraction. Beware of a hostile.
  • The photo booth on your right as you enter the venue. A civilian may be inside.
  • The path to the north after the photo booth. Usually one civilian and one enemy.
  • The arcade on the right side. No civilians, but at least two or more hostiles and the side target.
  • The haunted house after the Arcade. Possible suspicious spawn.
  • The wheel at the end of the site, in the north. There is usually a civilian waiting for you here.
  • The carousel on the northeast side. Possibly a civilian here.
  • The bumper cars past the carousel. A place for more than one civilian.
  • The ice cream shop next to Bumper Cars. Watch out for a suspect.
  • Classic burgers and the gift shop next door on the east side of the map. Usually there are civilians inside the shops or around the entrance. You may also find a hostile wandering around.
  • The connection between Classic Burgers and the Ice Cream Store. A hostile place.

Where to find the chemical weapons

The side goal is always in the same place, the arcade, located on the eastern side of the region. Walking past the main door will always trigger a civilian who opens the doors and faints from the poisonous gas that comes out – this civilian doesn't count towards your score, don't worry!

Enter here slowly, and you'll find some doors that connect to the right arcade. Enter and beware at least one enemy around. You must enter room in the middle, with the counter and the windows. To do so, simply go to the sides and lock the door (press F when prompted, then hold left click).

You probably already saw them if that was the case, but someone could be in this small room.

Enter the room and you'll find a desk with explosives and bags. Press F to report it, and the side objective will be completed.

No tips on good deeds

Instead of your favorite helmet, bring a gas mask. This is one of the missions where it is actually useful for the arcade section we mentioned earlier. If you try to enter here without a mask, you must slowly enter and withdraw when your character inhales the gas, otherwise your health will suffer. The gas mask allows you to move freely.

The haunted house is a place that may have enemies, and it's really, really dark. Have your flashlights equipped or use night vision if you have it.

As is usually the case in the game, it is always recommended to first secure the area (reduce the bad guys) and then focus on the civilians. You could get distracted and get a few shots to look at a person waiting to be rescued, or worse, they could get killed because of you.

Don't forget to press F multiple times next to a civilian to make them kneel, show you their back and let you hold F to hold them back.
