Inside, you'll find a cauldron right in front of the door. Light it up and then interact with it. This will open the cauldron's unique crafting menu, and here you can brew a variety of things such as potions, elixirs, and of course dyes.

By now Naira would have given you the recipe to make Bright Red Dye as well as all the necessary materials to make it. Brew the dye in the cauldron, then use it in your inventory. This unlocks the entire Bright Red Dye color palette for you, and you can use it as many times as you like. You don't need to make any more of them.

Paint shops can only use colors specific to their home region. The one in Hernand can't dye your clothes blue, the one in Delyssia can't dye your stuff red, and so on. The best place to color your gear Crimson Desert is indeed in the Greymanes camp itself. Once you've upgraded your camp enough times, you'll eventually get a rumor investigation request from Marius that will lead you to Oliver, the clan's resident dye master, and he'll be happy to dye your gear without region restrictions.

Dyes of various colors are sold by each of the dyehouses throughout Pywel. Other color shades are given out as rewards or just found lying around in the world. For reference, here are the colors you can expect to find from different regions:

  • Hernand: RED
  • Dementia: Purple
  • Price: Violet
  • Delesia: Blue
  • Pororin: Yellow
  • Tasjkalp: Orange
