How to complete the Cure for Isaac Quest in the Forge
To start the Cure for Isaac quest in The forgeyou must travel to the Forgotten Kingdom and make your way to the Ruined Cave. You can get there by using the cannon on the west side, which will shoot you directly to the location.
Before you head out, make sure you meet the requirements:
- At least level 10
- At least 150 gold coins
When you talk to Isaac, he explains that he was attacked by creatures, most likely Reapers and Deathaxe Skeletons. While he managed to escape, his arm was badly injured. Due to the injury and the bandage covering his skin, he has been unable to expose himself to sunlight and fears that he may turn into one of the monsters. After agreeing to help him, you must deliver a health potion.
Although this sounds simple, the Potion Shop in the Forgotten Kingdom only sells Health Potion 2 for 350 gold, which isn't the one Isaac needs and won't work if you give it to him.
To cure Isaac in The forgeyou must bring Health Potion 1 from Stonewake's Cross Potion Shop. Use your teleporter to return to the first island, then head to the Potion Shop near the Sensei Moro NPC. Buy Health Potion 1 from the witch Maria.
This potion restores Isaac's health in a short amount of time and costs 150 gold. Once you have it, go back to Isaac and give him the potion. Doing so completes the Cure for Isaac quest, makes him feel better, and rewards you with an achievement badge.
Being a native of the Forgotten Kingdom, Isaac has deep knowledge of the land's past and secrets. After curing him, you can return to him at any time to listen to short or long versions of the story of what happened to the land and why the caves are overrun with monsters, helping you better understand the game's lore.
