The master
Tannuk, constant others are The first legendary Kavu introduced in Magic: The Gathering. A proud Kav warrior, this 3/5 Kavu pilot gives all your other red creatures haste, but does not get the advantage of that ability itself.
Tannuk would be pretty forgetful if he didn't have a second ability: he Gives every red creature and every artifact in handAnd puts the warp cost on two generic and a red man.
Warp is an alternative casting cost with a disadvantage: An oblique permanently goes in exile at the beginning of the next final step. But you can throw these cards from exile later, without disadvantage except the requirement to hard cast them.
Since warp is an alternative casting cost, Warping a Spell counts as throwing it. It means that your magic formulas can still be counteracted, but it also means that it Cost reducing effects such as Ruby Medallion can be used to lower the cost.
While Tannuk will not win you any games through command injuries, he can deliver massive bomb shells early and consistent, so you can Consider your opponents with the type of superstompers that you only see in dedicated mono-green tires.
How to build tires
To give all your artifacts and red creatures warp for such a low cost, and to give all your creatures haste You can pack your tire with all the big bombs you wantAnd hardly need to worry about mana.
Expensive creatures, in the six-to-nine mana range, make up the majority of your strategy. Once Tannuk is the constant second in play, You can pay three mana to warp in something big, Attack or use its ability and exile then to play again at full cost later.
There are some tricks you can use to keep your creatures in play. For example, if you put the exile effect on the bundle at the end of your turn and then activate Solur of the endless, you do not have to reveal the creature at all!
The exile effect triggers only once, so skipping the final step while it is on the bundle means that it will not trigger again during the next final step. Make sure you Activate Solur of the endless with the exile trigger on the stack. Otherwise, you will prove it on your opponent's final step.
Conurer's Closet gives a similar advantage. If your oblique creatures leave games and then go in again, it counts as another creature Than the one who was oblique in. Then you don't have to prove it again!
Another effect of warning as casting formulas is that You can proccasra of oblique magic formulas. Cascade only cares about the card's man's value, so you can possibly pay three mans for a Maelström Colossus and get an old copper dragon from the cascade.
Wild magical magician is another good addition, because it Provides short cast from exile cascade. Late in the game you should be able to throw your expensive creatures for their mana value from exile, which makes wild magic magician one of the best late-game cards for this tire.
Ramp
Apart from basic mana -stones, most of Mana acceleration in this tire comes from either rituals or from expensive creatures you can cheat with tannuk For extra value.
Neheb, the eternal passively generates Mana at the beginning of your second main phase Based on the amount of life your opponents have lost in turn. If you twist it before a major attack, you can generate enough mana to throw one of your great creatures from exile.
In the meantime, Cavern-Hoard Dragon and Ancient Copper Dragon also requires you to land an attack, but if an opponent has no flying creatures, they can do lots of treasure. Ancient Copper Dragon is an average of 10–11 taxes after injuring an opponent, while Cavern-Hoard Dragon makes up to six taxes.
In the case of rituals, Mana Geyser and Jeska's will are both outstanding as can generate a lot of mana. Usually, mana Geyser will produce more mana, based on having three opponents to knock on the country, but sometimes you have an opponent with 20 cards to make a massive Jeska's will.
The tire list also contains some ways to lower the cost of magic formulas, but Charred foyer // oblique space receives special attention. The torn space is expensive at six mana, but that Allows you to throw a magic formula from exile free, including previously oblique magic formulas. Toss it for six man, then immediately bring in your Blightsteel Colossus for free.
Drag
Tannuk's warning capacity has a remarkable side effect: It effectively hides short in exile while letting you play them later As if they were in your hand. This makes “wheels” effects especially powerful in this tire.
“Wheel” effects are effects that force each player to discard his hand and draw new cards, such as Dragon Mages ability when it handles a player for a player. Forcing your opponents to discard is often good, but it's even better when you just Discard one or two cards, get seven new ones and still have four or five in exile from warp to throw later.
While Dragon Mage has to land a hit, Clive, Ifrit's dominant has a similar effect every time it records. When it is in play, you can either let it go into exile to throw and draw cards again, or you can turn it to IFrit, Warden of Inferno. Turning it makes it a new creature, so you don't have to prove it afterwards!
Sandstone oracle Is a little different, because it does not require you to throw your hand. That too have no fixed number of cards to draw, instead so you can play catch-up with an opponent. If you think someone is getting ready to draw many cards, stick to this one and take advantage of their games.
Package Don't look much play because it makes you a goal, but it's free card here: Use Tannuk, Steadfast Second to Warp it to play for three mana, pull three cards from its effect and tap it for three mana To replace what you paid!
Tire technology
A tire that relies on your commander is easily counteracted by removing the master. Sneak attack acts as a backup, so you can Play the huge bombs for a mana in the immediate speed. You have to sacrifice them at the end of the turn, but all ways to keep oblique creatures in play can help you get around this requirement.
Ilharg, Raze-Boar serves a similar feature and can be a backup commander if it was not for the higher mana cost. Ilharg allows you to put a creature in play knocked and attacks from your hand as it attacks, but that creature returns to your hand afterwards. If you twist it you get a two-by-a-deal for three mana!
There are also a couple of board options, such as extinguisher stroke and myojin of rushing leaves. Extinguisher are mediocre at eight mana, but with Tannuks warp that destroys a permanent and handles four damage to each creature For a small investment on three man. The Myojin is indestructibleso that you can attack for seven injuries safely act their invoice to blast three creatures for seven injuries.
