How to beat Ropalolyst

Like many boss fights in Warframe, Ropalolyst can be difficult until you know what you're doing, then it's just a matter of executing the right strategy. Below we take a look at how to beat Ropalolyst, including some recommended Warframes and weapons to bring into battle.

Best loading for Ropalolyst

Wisp Prime equipped with a Rubico, Pyrana Prime and Kinana Prime to fight Ropalolyst.

Ropalolyst only takes damage from specific mechanics throughout the fight, which means the most damage-dealing Warframe abilities won't be as useful. Because of this, we recommend bringing one tanky Warframe that can survive Ropalolyst's larger attacksas Hildryn, Revenantor Inaros.

Warframes with healing ability can also be used, as long as you have high enough health and armor to not get shot by the Ropalolyst's laser attacks.

For your weapon, anything that can direct specific points at the boss will work, as a sniper rifle. Essentially, all the weapons you would bring to an Eidolon hunt will work well here. Ropalolyst is weak to radiation damageso be sure to modify whatever weapon you choose for this element.

Some weapons to consider are Rubico or Vectisor their Prime versions if you have them. Alternatively, if you have Void Necramechits built-in Exalted Weapon, the Arquebexis fantastic for this fight.

You don't need to use your carrier too much for this fight, but using a decent booster will help.

How to beat Ropalolyst

The player runs on a wire towards Ropalolyst as it sends electrical charges down the wire.

The fight against Ropalolyst will take place in a large, open arena, with three energy cylinders placed in the north, east and west. When you approach one of these cylinders, use wires connecting the two platformsthe Ropalolyst will fly to it and start sending electrical charges along the wires.

Skip these, using each of the four wires as needed. When you reach the platform, the boss will appear charge and then fire a laser at you. Avoid this by stands behind the cylinderwhich by the way will upload it.

Now go back to the main platform and use your operator's weapon to deplete the Ropalolyst's shield. With the shield down you can now jump near the bossthen you will see the prompt “Grab Ropalolyst”. Do this to gain control over the bosswhen aim it at the loaded cylinder.

This will cause Ropalolyst to do so land in the center platform. Now you will need push the small metal containers onto your back. You just need to take out one of these capsulesso focus your fire on either the left or right.

When the capsule is destroyed, Ropalolyst will fall down. Next, quickly move to the control panel near the arena entranceand interact with it fire the Terran Chargerwhich will hit Ropalolyst with a massive laser.

If you don't activate the laser fast enough, Ropalolyst will respawnand you have to destroy one of its containers again to bring it back down.

You must now repeat this process two more timeswith the two remaining energy cylinders.

On the third time Ropalolyst goes down, its the whole body will become vulnerable instead of just the capsules on the back. After reducing the boss's health to zero, activate the laser a third time, and Ropalolyst will be defeated.
