How GTA 6's latest trailer strengthens Jason Cop Theory

For the first time ever in Gta history, Grand Theft Auto 6 will contain a Bonnie-and-Clyde duo of main characters, a man and the other woman. These two main characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, are a couple of criminals living in the fictional US state of Leonida and fall in love with each other while engaging robbery together. Jason is a former US army veteran that became a criminal director, while Lucia is an ex-conviction released from prison after a happy event. Together the two discover a state conspiracy and must protect each other from the hostile forces that surround them GTA 6S world.

It is not exactly clear what type of road Grand Theft Auto 6Plot will take, but Rockstar has provided lots of information about the game on both its website and recently released trailer. Recently Rockstar has updated the web page for GTA 6 Not only includes some short biographies of the main characters in the game, but also to contain some pictures and descriptions of the large, Florida-inspired regions in Leonida. Surprisingly, some fans have used these details to come up with some wild theories about GTA 6The main characters, one of whom may be more credible than some may think.

Some scenes in GTA 6's latest trailer indicate that Jason can secretly be a police officer

A user on Twitter named Gamer Detective has recently posted some page by side pictures of Grand Theft Auto 6Which, in their opinion, suggests that Jason Duval is secretly an undercover police. To be clear, gamerdetective is far from the only person who makes a requirement like this about Jason. Theories of ex-army member that a police officer has been circulating around the internet since then GTA 6First disclosure in 2023. With that said, the game's second trailer, combined with some of its screenshots on the official Rockstar website, makes this idea something likely.

In one of the recently released screenshots for GTA 6Jason can be seen as sitting next to the drug runner Brian honor in a car, while wearing a back baseball cap and a black vest. Interestingly, Jason's outfit in this picture is suspicious of the costume of a police officer who pops up under the other GTA 6 trailer. During a short scene where the police attack an apartment, a person with a similar appearance of baseball cap and a black police vest is seen. Unfortunately, this person's face is not revealed in the trailer, so it's hard to say for sure whether this is Jason or not.

As Gamer Detective pointed out there is a scene in the other GTA 6 Trailer where a gangster approaches Jason and suspects him of being a federal agent. This may not necessarily mean anything, but it gives more emphasis on their theory.

There is a cutting scene in GTA 6 that suspiciously has no visible main characters

Perhaps there is perhaps the strongest evidence in favor of “Jason is a police officer” theory GTA 6Last trailer, where a police officer can be seen talking to two individuals with their backs to the camera. For the untrained eye, this short scene in the trailer may not seem so in place. But like most diehard Grand Theft Auto Fans would know, the absence of visible main characters in this cutting scene is a bit unusual. Almost everyone cuts in all Gta Games have their main characters in some respects. Therefore, the fact that Jason and Lucia indicate are not present in this scene either that Rockstar changes their formula, or that Jason is one of the individuals the police are talking to.

Trust is probably one of GTA 6's largest themes

Whether Jason is actually a police officer or not, the trust (or lack of it) seems to be a central theme for Grand Theft Auto 6. The short conversation between Jason and Lucia in the game's first trailer is an excellent example of this idea, which Gamerdetective noted in their tweet. Although the two main characters are shown as love birds in Gta 6A second trailer, it is possible that they can hide some important information from each other, police -related or otherwise.
