Halo Infinite's sequel may have the perfect disclosure date

From May 2025 Halo Franchise is a bit unclear. Halo endless is still updated regularly, with its latest update landing in early May, but there is still no concrete news about the franchis's next main line payment or any other Halo Projects that are currently under development.

Back in October 2024, 343 Industries renamed Halo Studios. This Rebrand came together with the announcement that the entire future Halo Video game projects would be to use Unreal Engine 5, as opposed to the franchise aging Slipspace engine. Fans were treated with some glimpses from an internal test building called Project Foundry, which is explicitly stated not to be a new game. It was said, however, that elements seen in the images would appear in the future Halo game. And although there is still no word about what these games are or when they will show up, there is a perfect revealing date waiting in the wings.

Arbiter is one of the most interesting characters in the franchise. He offers a convincing perspective on the union and the galaxy as a whole. His story of redemption, honor and struggle against his own people offers a wealth of emotions that are largely lacking in the Spartan-focused games. A game based on Arbiter would open doors for previously unused Lore, offer a new type of game (similar to what may have seen in Halo 2) and give the fans a new, darker aspect of Halo to get involved in, which is something that the franchise desperately needs.
