On its Youtube page, Half-Life and Valve Insider Tyler Mcvicker shared a new video describing 17 new pieces of Half-Life 3 information that have been found in recent months. These pieces of information come from the source code for Dota 2 and Deadlock, and are all good signs that half -life 3 can be announced “every day” now.

Some of the discoveries within the code include a modernized savings and loading system (which Mcvicker thinks is proof that the development is rounded off), a new string of code for electrical interactions that promotes the perception that HL3 will have more immersive SIM elements and much more “complex” visual and sound mechanis for NPC.

Many of the new code that has been found for HLX is only a few months old, which really gets the idea that the development of Half-Life 3 progresses smoothly. There are many other interesting findings in the video, but the main heading is that it is very likely that we will see the game in the near future.

As exciting as these leaks and the prospect of Half-Life 3 on the horizon is, it is worth remembering what Mcvicker says about Valve that announces the game soon. While Half-Life 3 really seems like it is ready to be revealed, the valve is perfectionists and unlikely will show it until it is really done. With that in mind, don't go into the Summer Game Fest sure it will actually be there.
