During the Culling Game arc, Kashimo came out as a force of nature obsessed with fighting Ryomen Sukuna. Hajime Kashimo is a wizard from the Edo era (about 400 years old) who had signed a contract with Kenjaku to be reincarnated in the Culling Game. Kashimo was invincible in his time, and the world seemed a dull place with no one strong enough to challenge him. The result of this boredom was a lonely existence; other wizards were regarded by him as loose change. His rebirth was to face the King of Curses, Sukuna, in battle to the death.

The reason why Kashimo is dangerous even without a technique is the type of cursed energy that he possesses. His energy is always in a state of electrical discharge as with an eternal battery. He can stun opponents with every hit and evades defenses by paralyzing the nervous system. Mythical Beast Amber is a suicidally cursed technique; it is the final binding vow, granting a god's power in lieu of the user's life. When the “amber” disappears, Kashimo's body turns to ash, and is therefore a weapon that can only be used against the strongest opponent ever, such as Sukuna.

The Clash Of Immortals: Kashimo Vs. Hakari
A battle between infinite luck and raw elemental power
The battle between Kashimo and Kinji Hakari is one of the most popular battles to ever take place in the series, as it was about sheer power and infinite wealth. Even after Hakari won the lottery (Jackpot) that gave him unlimited cursed power and automatic Reverse Cursed Technique, Kashimo was on the verge of killing him several times with pure strategy and lightning. He used the chlorine in the seawater to generate poisonous gas and nearly blew Hakari's head off with a timed discharge, but Hakari survived, and they eventually agreed to team up against Sukuna.
The final encounter with The King of Curses
When Kashimo finally confronted Sukuna, he was the only wizard who could force the King of Curses to fully manifest in his Heian Age form. Kashimo was able to get Sukuna to take him seriously by unleashing Mythical Beast Amber, which temporarily distracted the weakened four-armed wizard with a burst of light and sound. Although he was eventually defeated by Sukuna's “Dismantle”, the encounter served as a reminder to fans of the two strongest beings of their time at the pinnacle of power and the isolation that comes with it.
