Ghost of Yotei Legends: The Dragon Raid Walkthrough

The dragon is one of the two raids in Ghost of Yotei Legends. This is much bigger than the Story missions or Incursions you may have already completed. It contains a few puzzles, several enemy encounters and a very challenging boss fight at the end. The entire raid can take anywhere from an hour to an hour and thirty minutes. The guide below provides a complete walkthrough of the first raid and tips on how players can defeat the Dragon boss at the end of Ghost of Yotei Legends.

After completing both raids, players will unlock Kaibyaku trophy, and both raids also reward different cosmetic outfits for each class.

After starting the raid, go through Sulfur Canyons until you run into a pressure plate that activates a stone platform in front of you. One player must stand on the plate to activate a platform while another climbs the wall to the left to find another pressure plate, which activates a lantern. The other two players can then jump over to the platform and grapple to the other side.

To your immediate left and right are two pressure plates, and the two players who crossed must stand on them to create a path for the players behind.

When you reach the area with the door in the distance, to your right is a path that leads to a slab that activates stone platforms that lead to another slab to the left. Two players should go over, deal with the Jubokko trees and stand on the isolated pressure padwhich is a little far from the four pressure plates at the base of the door. This allows the remaining two players to cross over, after which everyone can stand on the plates near the door to open it.

Through the door, players will face their first wave of enemies, with several Dragon's Soldiers positioned above as ranged attackers. They can quickly take down anyone they target, so go straight to the right or left to get behind rocks that act as protection.

You can then move further along these paths to reach the elevated area and deal with these enemies. Bo-Hiya enemies should be your priority, as they can be particularly annoying. Another wave will spawn after you defeat the first few enemies, and clearing them allows you to regroup at the rally point ahead.

You will reach Collapsed strategywhere more enemies will spawn, requiring you to handle multiple waves. After clearing them you can equip Kami's Blessing to win Teleport ability, which remains available for the remainder of the raid. Use it to teleport over and activate the assembly point. Split into teams of two and teleport to the left and right portals to deal with the enemies in those areas.

As more waves play, large arrow-like projectiles will drop from abovecreate red circular zones. These explode after a short time, so it's best to move out of the area. You can destroy them, but since they have high health and enemies will attack, it's usually better to ignore them.

Go to Jubokko garden. After clearing the trees, three players must stand on the pressure plates on the sides, allowing the fourth player to teleport to a stone platform. Head right, deal with more Jubokko trees, and stand on the tile to open a teleport above your spot, allowing the other players to join you.

Then go to the left area with more trees. Here, one tile creates a platform, and another tile above it activates an additional platform, allowing two players to move forward. Once these players have activated the tiles, the remaining players can use the raised platform to cross by jumping between the platforms.

All four players must then stand on the tiles behind Cursed gate to activate it. The gate periodically spawns enemies, but you can ignore them and focus on destroying the gate quickly. An archer can deal with this effectively, or you can use the throwable bombs that spawn nearby. When the gate opens, proceed through it to reach the Dragon boss arena.

To the left of the arena is one Change class stoneso you can change equipment, upgrade your weapons or change class before the fight. Even if your team dries, you can return here and adjust your settings before trying again. When you're done, activate the assembly point and watch the cutscene.

Dragon Boss Fight in Ghost of Yotei Legends

When the boss fight begins, the dragon will mark a player with a flaming skull above its head. This causes explosives to fall on them, creating small circular blast zones that detonate shortly thereafter. Instead of rolling repeatedly tagged players should continue running to avoid injury.

These explosions can hurt teammates, so communication is key. The marked player should move along the edges of the arenawhile others remain clear. The boss can mark multiple players at the same time, so marked players should run in opposite directions to avoid overlapping lanes. If you have a smoke bomb equipped, you can use it to remove the mark instantly.

The dragon's attacks are similar to those of the Oni enemies, requiring precise snaking to avoid unblockable attacks. Focus on clearing out all the enemies the boss spawns before attacking the boss itself. After reducing some of his health, The dragon will summon several explosive arrows across the arena, leaving no safe space. In this case, all four players should focus on destroying a single arrow quickly to create a safe zone.

Shinobi is quite useful for this boss fight, as they can use their class ability to shroud the entire team or turn invisible on their own when reviving to avoid being interrupted.

Combat continues in a similar pattern, although sometimes the boss can tag all players at once. A good strategy here is to have two players run along the edges while the other two move in a circular path in the middle. When the boss spawns more enemies, remember to always prioritize the Elite Bo-Hiya enemies, as they can fire explosives that cover a large area and can almost take you from full health to zero if you're caught in the blast radius.

Once the boss is defeated, take the final teleport and complete the raid by passing through the Torii Gate.
