A prominent Fortnite leaker surprises fans by announcing that the popular battle royale will soon feature a crossover with King of the Hill.

The latest anime series to join Fortnites stable is Kaiju No. 8. The new crossover has the form of a special Fortnite Kaiju No. 8 pack containing a number of playable skins based on characters from the series, as well as playable hacks, backbling, emotes and wraps. Based on the manga by Naoya Matsumoto, Kaiju No. 8 play the members of Japan's Anti-Kaiju Defense Force, a group of super soldiers who destroy huge monsters that threaten the nation. Kaiju No. 8 Protagonist Kafka Hibino is an ordinary human who gains the ability to transform into a powerful humanoid Kaiju and decides to use his newfound strength to join the defense force and fulfill a lifelong dream.

As described in the trailer, the crossover includes skins based on Kaiju No. 8 Third Division members Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa and Kikoru Shinomiya. The suits are made from Kaiju parts and give regular people enough power to take down the monsters, with each character donning more customized suits later in the series.

One pickaxe is based directly on Kikoru's massive battle axe, while the other two are inspired by Kafka's Kaiju form and Reno's affinity for ice powers, respectively. The pack also includes an emote that shows the spirit of Kaiju No. 8 hovering over the character, and a skin that decorates a weapon using Kaiju No. 8's skin pattern.
