Fortnite has officially revealed a major horror crossover coming to the game sometime next year, with Battle Royale teaming up with the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. The beloved shooter has been no stranger to spooky collaborations, especially after the launch of the ongoing Halloween event “Fortnitemares,” featuring a variety of skins. Fortnitmares has included everything from Friday the 13th to Scooby-Doo to Fortnite throughout the event, with more than 20 skins added to the game. Now, Fortnite hints at another collaboration next year with a beloved horror franchise.
Fortnite has teamed up with Capcom's most iconic horror franchise in the past, among others Resident Evil skins are added to Battle Royale. Fortnites “STARS” set focused around the original pair of playables Resident Evil protagonists, bringing new skins to the game based on Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Fortnite would also later add both Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield to Battle Royale 2023, likely as a tie-in to the release of the remake of Resident Evil 4. Fortnite teased now even more Resident Evil skins coming in 2026.
Epic Games officially revealed the upcoming Fortnite collaboration with Resident Evil Requiem via the Epic Games Store. Players who pre-purchase Resident Evil Requiem through the Epic Games Store will receive a gift with their purchase, giving access to a skin based on the protagonist Grace Ashcroft. The post also suggests that “other items” will be available within Fortnite as part of the bonus, implies even more Resident Evil Requiem content will be added Fortnite. The post does not confirm a release date for Resident Evil Requiems crossover content in Fortnitealthough it will likely coincide with the game's February 27 release.

Fortnites new collaboration with Resident Evil Requiem coming as the game has some exciting crossover content coming soon. The end of Fortnites Chapter 6 will officially ring in a mini-season based on The Simpsonswith a new map themed around the beloved animated series that comes alongside several skins from the series. Leaks have also heavily hinted that another popular show will make its way to Fortnite soon, suggests addition of South Park cosmetics for the game.
Fortnites upcoming crossovers join many high-profile collaborations to hit the game in recent months. Alongside the previously mentioned Fortnitemares crossovers, Fortnite teamed up with the hit Netflix movie K-Pop Demon Hunters for a bigger event, adding more skins and a new game mode. The developer also rolled out the “Daft Punk Experience” as a collaboration with the iconic musical act, with a plethora of songs also coming to Fortnite Festival.
