Fortnite confirms that Fortnite Crew will not receive price increase

During the modern digital age, few things are as frustrating as seeing which subscription service you subscribe to raise the price. We have seen it happen with Playstation Plus, which leads to a player stacking his subscription to 2048 to avoid future price increases. More recently, we have seen it with Xbox and Game Pass, although it actually made people try to cancel their subscriptions.

That said, a situation with price increase will not happen to Fortnite Crew, the monthly subscription that gives players some exclusive rewards, along with V-bucks and other goodies, all for a monthly price of $ 11.99.

By taking on social media, after some rather convincing rumors that the service would receive two levels with two separate prizes, the official Fortnite status account adds these fears to bed, at least for now.

Although Fortnite says price increases will not come, the evidence is convincing

For what it is worth, while Fortnite said that the rumored price increases “do not happen” were the evidence presented by the original Fortnite LEAKER, Ifiremonkey, quite convincing, so it is a bit unclear in the end what is happening.

This is because they noted in their original posts that location -holding strings of code were found in the Fortnite Crew subscription that would seem to inform existing subscribers that “Fortnite crew changes!” And that it would soon have a level that would remove Lego, Music and Fortnite OG elements in the subscription.

These “cut” features would seem to constitute the content of a higher level subscription. The existing Fortnite crew as a player would continue, which is without these elements. Of course, this is all speculation, but it is quite convincing in some way. In the end, time will show if there was a delay in a potential price increase, or whether Epic plays the reaction to the game passes and decided to hold the course.
