Next Friday, February 13, will be a big day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Xbox Game Pass controversially raised its price last year, but Microsoft has tried to appease subscribers by ensuring there is a constant stream of new games being added to the service. Whether those efforts will pay off remains to be seen, but in the meantime, subscribers will reap the rewards.
In addition to adding new games to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has also added more benefits to the service following the price hike. One of the big ones is the addition of Fortnite Crew to Game Pass Ultimate, which gives subscribers access to all that that means, like free skins and V-Bucks. If you were someone who already paid for Fortnite Crew and Game Pass Ultimate, you'll actually save money on the latter thanks to the services being bundled together. Others will be looking for new game additions to justify the price hike, and there are some heavy hitters on the way this month.
The four biggest Xbox Game Pass games of 2026 are just the tip of the iceberg
Four massive Xbox Game Pass games are already on deck for 2026, with many more games expected to join the service next year as well.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance and High on Life 2 are coming to Game Pass on the same day
A particularly busy day for Xbox Game Pass comes Friday, February 13, which will see the addition of a popular older game as well as the premiere of a brand new first day. On Friday, February 13, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to checking out the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the highly anticipated sci-fi FPS sequel game, High on Life 2. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a known quantity and should be a great addition to the Game Pass library High on Life 2 should be a no-brainer if it lives up to the bar set by its predecessor.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the story of Henry of Skalitz, who finds himself on an open-world medieval adventure after enduring some tragic and shocking events. Known for its hard-hitting RPG gameplay, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an acquired taste and won't appeal to everyone, but those who give it a chance and allow themselves to immerse themselves in its world will find it incredibly hard to put down. the sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is even higher than the first game, but I definitely recommend everyone to play through the OG first. Being able to play a game that Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Game Pass is great because it means you can try it out and see if it's up your alley without actually buying it. It's also worth pointing out that the game will be available to Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers, while High on Life 2 will be exclusive to the Ultimate and PC tiers.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is good, but High on Life 2 is truly the headliner when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass games releasing on February 13th. One day one release, High on Life 2 is the sequel to Squanch Games' superior and hilarious FPS from 2022. High on life was one of my favorite games released that year, and so I'm looking forward to it High on Life 2which promises more chatty weapons, gaming satire and sci-fi absurdity. It's one of the first major new Xbox Game Pass games of 2026 and barring technical issues or other unforeseen glitches, it should be great.
