Fallout Season 3 Reconfirmed by Walton Goggins at Fallout Fan Celebration

If you're a fan of all things Fallout, there's no better place to be this weekend than the actual locations that made up Fallout New Vegas this weekend for the fourth annual Fallout Fan Celebration. In addition to getting a chance to celebrate one of the game's most beloved franchises, who knows who you might run into, such as Walton Goggins, AKA, The Ghoul himself.

Because that's exactly what happened to attendees last Saturday, when Goggins, who wasn't on the confirmed list of guests to appear, showed up, greeted fans, made a few drinks and reconfirmed a nuclear-sized bombshell.

Fallout on Amazon Prime will have a third season.

Yes, it is. Don't ask for more information because there doesn't seem to be any, plus Fallout Season 2 hasn't even been officially released yet. That won't happen until December. Never mind, Goggins wanted everyone to know that the breakout video game adaptation was sticking around for another season.

It had already technically been renewed by Amazon, but it's nice to hear it from the actors themselves.

“There are two things I love about the show,” one user wrote. “Casterna and Walton Goggins. I know he counts as cast, but not putting him in twice felt wrong.”

Agree on.

Dropping massive news wasn't the only thing Goggins did in New Vegas

At some point before or after the news dump, Goggins decided to pop behind the Pioneer Saloon and serve some drinks to the fans. By the looks of the pictures, yes, these drinks are Fallout themed.

It's also worth mentioning that Goggins took the time to thank the fans for all their support. In an extremely heartfelt speech, Goggins made it known that he is very aware of all the love that The Ghoul has received.

“Thank you for all your support, and I can't tell you what it means to be a thread in this community,” he said. “It's unbelievable.”

If it wasn't already obvious then, it certainly is now – Goggins deeply appreciates being part of the larger Fallout community, and the experience isn't lost on him. It's safe to say he loves the franchise. Long live The Ghoul.
