Ghoul in the update added some new places to Fallout 76. Here's what players need to know.
What is attack?
Onsaughught is a buff that you can use thanks to some perk cards and a legendary effect. It is a stacking buff that helps increase your injury. There are two different types of attacks in the game.
Standard attacks
The default version means you Get stacks of attacks by getting consecutive hits on an enemy. Each hit gives you another stack until you reach the maxlock, which will depend on your benefit choice. Each stack will increase your damage by a small amount. The more stacks you have, the higher the injuries.
However, the usual way that attacks works means that your accumulated bars begin Reduce by a second that you do not hit an enemy. To see your current stack value, there is an icon in the lower right corner of the screen that pops up when you start beating enemies. It will also have a number next to the icon that indicates how many bars you have.
Master
The second way to use stacks is the same as the first way, only in the reverse direction. Instead of collecting stacks by beating enemies in succession, You start with stacks, and then they go down with every successful hit on an enemy. Your stacks generate passively at a speed of 1 stack per second. This second attack style is called Master Onsruught.
Whatever type of attack you use, you make a Additional 5% damage per stack. So if you go for a standard building, you start with 0% and your injury production will increase when you collect stacks. With a Master Onslaught building, you start with a fixed number of bars depending on your charge, which means that your damage will start higher. For example, if you have 10 bars, your first shot will do +50% damage. But after the first shot, you lose a bundle so that your injuries will decrease by 5%.
