As is the case with almost all games that Pokemon PokopiaCustomization, especially character customization, is a big deal. Not only do they let you express yourself, but in the case of Pokemon Pokopia, they let you wear clothes and hairstyles inspired by your favorite characters from older Pokemon games.
In addition to all the environment and furniture references, the customization options for your Ditto include appearances based on NPCs, trainers, player characters and more. Black Belt NPC Trainer
Black Belt Outfit is based on Black Belt NPC trainers which you encounter in various Pokemon games as you travel along roads. They usually battle with Fighting type Pokemon and this design is specifically based on the NPCs in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. You can find this outfit in Sparkling Skylands.

Roughneck outfit
Roughneck NPC Trainer
Roughneck Outfit is based on the Roughneck NPC trainer that you encounter on your routes in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. This NPC appears in more than just the Gen 1 remake, but the Let's Go version specifically inspires this outfit. You can find this outfit randomly on a dream island.

The Bird Keeper outfit is another NPC trainer outfit based on the bird keeper's trainer you'll come across while exploring in older Pokemon games. This NPC trainer inspired Sailor outfit is based on the NPC trainer battles you'll encounter in almost every Pokémon game. That said, based on the top and hat, this design is likely either based on the Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee version of this NPC or the one from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This outfit can be found on the west end of the SS Anne in Bleak Beach.

Super geek outfit
Super Nerd NPC Trainer
The last random NPC trainer battle outfit you can find in Pokemon Pokopia is based on the Super Nerd NPC. Variations of this trainer can be found throughout Pokémon, but this outfit is specifically based on the Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee models. This is also one of the only outfits that includes glasses in the game. This outfit can be found in a cave system in Rocky Ridges.

Fluffy hairstyle
Acerola, member of the Alola Elite Four
Unfortunately, some trainers and characters only got hairstyle references and not full outfits. That said, their hairstyles are pretty identifiable, so it's still a nice touch. This fluffy hairstyle is based on Acerola, the captain of Ula'ula Island in Pokemon Sun and Moonand a member of the Alola Elite Four. This outfit can be found randomly on a dream island.

The curly hairstyle is based on Bede, one of your rivals in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Bede is the successor to Opal at Ballonlea Stadium and specializes in Fairy-type Pokemon. This hairstyle can be found randomly in Dream Islands.

Misty, Kanto Water Gym leader
As for the final hairstyle, Misty unfortunately doesn't have an outfit in the game, but you can still get her iconic hairstyle. Misty is Kanto's water-type gym leader and if you watch the show, then you're probably also familiar with her as one of Ash's original companions. This hairstyle can be found extremely early, as it is only in a cave near Onix in the Withered Wasteland.
