Every LEGO Star Wars Set Confirmed for This Year (So Far)

LEGOpp Star Wars line has come a long way since its debut in 1999. LEGO Star Wars sets have evolved from relatively blocky approximations of iconic Star Wars prequel ships and scenes to full-fledged recreations that often contain thousands of pieces and, unfortunately, cost hundreds of dollars.

The next step in LEGO Star Wars' The evolution is already well underway. 2026 has already seen a total of eight new LEGOs Star Wars releases, and that's just scratching the surface of what LEGO has in store for one of its flagship lines. From sets based on The Mandalorian and Grogu to a whole wave centered around an experimental new play function, LEGO is doing a lot Star Wars license this year.

Eight LEGOs Star Wars sets have already hit store shelves this year. Generally speaking, while most of the sets themselves have been praised for their design, the perpetual year-on-year increase in cost has started to take a toll on LEGO Star Wars fans. Although it's great to see a $10 LEGO Star Wars sets again, charging $22.99 for the 116-piece Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack and $34.99 for the 207-piece Cobb Vanth's Speeder set might seem a little outrageous to some fans. Like I said, LEGO Star Wars' Midi-scale vehicle sets continue to be a highlight across the line, with both the Venator and AT-AT featuring great detail.

On March 1, LEGO will release its first wave of SMART Play sets. For the unaware, SMART Play is the latest experimental play feature from LEGO, one that revolves around a SMART Brick. This special tech-packed brick produces lights and sounds based on the SMART tags and SMART minifigures that surround it. LEGO is testing this new feature with a whole wave of LEGOs Star Wars sets, all of which are designed around SMART Brick functionality, although it is very important to note that some do not include the brick itself.

A week or so after release, there is a lot of caution surrounding these LEGOs Star Wars SMART Play sets. On paper, these sets look much less detailed than standard LEGOs Star Wars set, but costs quite a bit more. The SMART Play Luke's Landspeeder set, for example, only has 215 pieces and retails for $39.99, while the 2020 Luke Skywalker Landspeeder set (75271) contained 236 pieces and retails for $29.99. To make matters worse, the SMART Play Luke's Landspeeder set doesn't even include a SMART brick.

Only three sets in this March LEGO Star Wars the wave actually contains the SMART Brick needed to access the play features they have all been designed around, they are Darth Vader's TIE Fighter set, Red Five X-Wing and the Throne Room Duel & A-Wing set. This means that in order to access the play features of a cheaper set like Luke's Landspeeder, fans will also need to spend an additional $69.99 at least for a set that includes a SMART Brick.

LEGO Star Wars will return to a regular wave after its SMART Play experiment in March. On April 26, six new LEGOs Star Wars sets hit store shelves, all inspired by The The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, which hits theaters a month later. As you might expect, the two titular protagonists appear in most of these upcoming LEGOs Star Wars sets, although a special “Mandalorian Apprentice” version of the Grogu minifigure appears in the Anzellan Starship, Razor Crest, and the buildable Grogu sets, with a circular clay horn medallion on the torso print.

The new Razor Crest LEGO set has already attracted ire online from some fans due to comparisons between it and the previously released 2020 version. While the original 2020 Razor Crest contained 999 pieces and sold for $139.99, the upcoming 2026 Razor Crest will contain 930 pieces and will retail for $149.99. A clear advantage of the new Razor Crest, however, is the included Zeb Orrelios minifigure, which features dual cast arms and legs.

Every rumored LEGO Star Wars 2026 set

It is every upcoming Star Wars which LEGO has officially confirmed on February 22, 2026, but there are a few rumors at the moment. A few weeks ago, leaker Maniac67 claimed that a new Imperial Shuttle LEGO set is on the way. This set will reportedly include 961 pieces, six minifigures and will be inspired by The Mandalorian Season 2 finale. The first details of this year's LEGO Star Wars The advent calendar has also been leaked, with it said to have included Moff Gideon and Mando in holiday clothes as well as a new version of Grogu.

Just a few days ago, Carter_bricks04 also leaked a new Sandcrawler set, a set based on its appearance in the first season of The Mandalorian. This set will reportedly include six minifigures, will contain approximately 1,700 pieces, and will retail for $199.99. According to this latest leak, new LEGO Star Wars Sandcrawler set will be released in August 2026.
