Offering 1-3 free games every week since December 2018 Epic Games Store has certainly delivered its fair share of variety over the years. In addition to running the gamut between huge AAA releases and small indie games, the Epic Games Store's free games of the week have dabbled in just about every genre of game out there, from first-person shooters to Metroidvanias and plenty in between.
With such an eclectic mix usually on offer, it's rare that the Epic Games Store's free games manage to tap into gaming's hottest genres. But on November 13, 2025, the Epic Games Store is presenting players with a handful of free titles that channel some of 2025's strongest and most popular genres.
