The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the latest addition to Zelda franchise, and the first with Zelda himself in the role of playable protagonist. Created by Nintendo and Grezzo, Echo of wisdom features the “classic” Zelda format and is visually similar to Grezzo's previous entry in the franchise, Link's Awakening remake. With Zelda front and center, Echo of wisdom makes several interesting changes to the formula, most notably for combat. But at its core, this is still a classic Zelda experience, one that bridges the gap between the “modern” and “classic” eras remarkably well.
Echo of wisdom features a huge map for players to explore, with all the classic regions fans of the series have come to expect (plus a few surprises). As Zelda makes her way through Hyrule, she is accompanied by Three, her trusted partner. Tri's abilities serve as the basis for almost every major mechanic within Echo of wisdom, including combat and exploration. Zelda will use a huge system of Eco (copies of objects and enemies found in the world) to conquer her enemies, traverse the world and solve puzzles.
