Mixed martial artist and BKFC co-owner Conor McGregor reveals that he is developing a new exposure boxing video game.
The latest title finding itself on the chopping block is EA Vancouver's EA Sports UFC 3whose servers were taken offline on Monday 17 February and ended support for all its multiplayer functionality. At the same time with this move, EA disappointed the game from Playstation and the Xbox stores. February 15, EA Sports UFC 3 was also removed from the Xbox Game Pass as a result of being deducted from the EA Play library. Therefore, the game's single playing modes can now only be played by fans who already own either its physical copy or one of its digital versions. Owners can still download it later from Sony and Microsoft's stores.
EA Sports UFC 3 Was EA's longest UFC game
EA Sports UFC 3 was originally released for PS4 and Xbox One on February 2, 2018. Its multiplayer servers were closed exactly 7 years and 15 days later. This makes it EA's longest supported UFC Games, exceeding UFC 2 with about one and a half months. For extra contexts, the first EA Sports UFC Game got its servers offline in early December 2019, five and a half years after its debut.

The last two entries in EA Vancouver's MMA series are still playable online from February 2025. Based on EA's track record, UFC 4Multiplayer servers may remain in operation until at least 2028, while UFC 5 are likely to come to the 2030s. In the meantime, UFC 6 Reportedly went into full production at the end of 2024, which indicates that it could hit the market between 2027 and 2028.

In related news, F1 22 and Operation FlashPoint: Dragon Rising will be deducted from EA's Play List subscription library on February 28 and March 14 respectively.
