Developer Blizzard has revealed what fans of Diablo 4 can look forward to earning in the upcoming Season 7 Battle Pass. Debuted on January 21, 2025, Diablo 4 Season 7 is titled Season of Witchcraft and promises new content, activities and rewards for players to enjoy.

With the launch of Diablo 4 Season 7 is coming soon, Blizzard is ready to reveal more to keep Diablo 4 players engaged in the game. Unlike Season 6, Season of Hatred Rising, Season of Witchcraft will kick off what Blizzard calls “Chapter 2” of the game's ongoing seasonal story. Players will be tasked with teaming up with the Witches of Hawezar faction and tracking severed heads stolen from the Tree of Whispers. They will also enhance their current powers by augmenting them with Hawezar Witchcraft, equip new abilities via the new Occult Gem items, and defeat new enemies, such as the Headrotten bosses.

Diablo 4 team leader Rod Fergusson shares some exciting news about how the game will handle stories going forward, starting with Season 7.

Players will also be able to earn new rewards as part of Diablo 4 Season 7 Battle Pass, the details that Blizzard revealed on the official Diablo 4 place. The Season of Witchcraft Battle Pass will have 28 levels available for free to players, with an additional 62 levels available to those who purchase the Premium Battle Pass, for a total of 90 levels of progression. The rewards take a variety of forms, with armor and weapon cosmetics available for use in Diablo 4 transmog system. Rideable mounts, Town Portal skins, emblems and emotes will also be available on the Season 7 Battle Pass.

The main reward from Diablo 4 The Season 7 Premium Battle Pass is a complete set of armor called the Grand High Witch Armor. Looking like an iron statue adorned with snake-themed decorations and exuding mystical power, the Grand High Witch Armor makes players look like an immensely powerful member of the coven, regardless of their current Diablo 4 player class. For players on the free lane, the Black Masquerade set includes five weapon transmogs and a set of Armor Basics roleplaying outfits themed around festive dressball attire, as well as a title, Town Portal Effect and Smoldering Ashes needed for seasonal blessings.

However, Blizzard has more prizes for players willing to pay for the Premium or Accelerated Battle Pass tiers, including more armor and weapon transmogs, emblems, and Platinum to use in store purchases. Players can also earn two Diablo 4 mounts and two sets from the Season 7 Premium Battle Pass. Called Wightscale and Nightwinder, the mounts are both horse-like, but with a reptilian twist.
