Bungie announced some major changes coming to the annual Solstice event in Destiny 2 to coincide with the new functional extensions made with fate. While Destiny 2 Shifted away from its traditional seasonal model for fate of fate, it seems that Bungie relies on events with limited time and new content extensions to the portal on almost a weekly basis to keep players entertained between major updates.
Already, Destiny 2 Fans participate in Arm's Week, a new event that places focus on a specific weapon type, with hand cannons presented for the first iteration. In addition to special volatile mods, players can serve new weapons such as Phoneutria Fera, a hand cannon that takes their inspiration more from shotguns. Before that, Destiny 2 Keeping its first race for the desert Perpetual Raid, and now the annual Solstice event is just around the corner.

Destiny 2 update finally fixes the ability Stat bonuses on armor
A new update for Destiny 2, which fixes a number of problems in the game, while finally addressing a frustrating problem with ability statistics on armor.
As expected, Destiny 2 Takes back their Solstice event, but for this year's version, players should expect something much less traditional than in previous years. In his latest weekly blog post, Bungie confirmed that players will still try to restore the armor and eventually add unique glow effects to it. However, Blurb also teased new rewards, including a ghost shell, Holofoil weapon, as well as special Destiny 2 Strand theme armor sets, which will be a premium purchase bound to Eververse.
Destiny 2 Solstice 2025 Event changes
One of the biggest confirmed changes is that Solstice will no longer use Bonfire Bash activity as its central mechanics. By Destiny 2Home function for events, players will instead have access to a special Solstice that is burned degesty -playlist and special rotating sun modifiers applied to PVE activities in the portal. Bungie has teased a bunch, but revealed only four to this point, including:

Hot Potato – Portable Sun Flurs sometimes fall from defeated fighting. Passing it between players increases the amount of damage it will do.

Fired – dealing with damage and final strokes from solar sources raises a heat meter when full, your weapons will cause solar explosions.

Class bill – heal yourself when using your class ability.

Igniter – precision hits against burnt fighters causing ignitions.
Meanwhile, Bungie continues to sort by the fall of a cheat scandal from Destiny 2S Desert Perpetual Raid. In what many called Destiny 2Raid's most difficult competition mode, both due to bugs and learning of the new non-linear format of the experience, reported that many cleansing was not made legitimate. The reports eventually got Bungie to investigate, while reminding players to break the Code of Conduct can lead to a ban from the game.
