Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Will be back for a second viewing starting March 6, 2026 (for Canada and the US) and March 7, 2027 (for the UK). This re-release will be screened in the original language with English subtitles and in English dub. In addition, for the first time, fans of Tanjiro and Hashira will be able to enjoy this film on ScreenX (270º panoramic view with multiple projections).

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle became one of the most watched Anime films of all time, and was a huge box office success Ufotable and its director. It became the first Japanese film to exceed ¥100 billion (about US$700 million) in total revenue and was seen by nearly 89 million viewers worldwide.
During San Diego Comic Con 2025, Demon Slayer director Haro Sotozaki was extremely pleased and grateful to the audience for their support, when he explained that Screen Rant during an interview:
“We're incredibly honored. From day one, we've had the same team working together, and we've developed a shorthand that allows for effective and creative collaboration. That stability allows us to challenge norms and push visual boundaries. We're excited to finally share the film with American audiences.”

This re-release makes the wait for the next films (with unconfirmed release dates) less harsh. Although fans are still getting worried when rumors of a possible release in 2027 for the second part of Infinity Castle grow in strength.
Given that there is one much struggle ahead (Infinity Castle Arc is far from over), fans should expect Ufotable to continue to deliver maximum quality for this epic conclusion to the story of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and the reclusive Inosuke. The bar has been set pretty high, but the most important battles of this arc are yet to come: As the Demon Slayer Corps lay down their souls to take down Muzan, the next film promises to be even more exciting than the first.
But for that, fans will have to wait until 2029 (which is the approximate date of the release of the third and final part of Infinity Castle). A fairly long cooling off period that will keep the hype going (and people talking about it) for years to come.
