Deliverance 2 left a stone reverse that heritage from the blacksmith had to pick up

The following contains spoilers for Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Henry's story in Kingdom Come: Deliverance The series has always been deeply personal, with the overall story even starting with a tragedy that would understandably be difficult for someone to bear: a raid on his hometown and his parent's death. Early in the first Kingdom Come: DeliveranceHenry's adoptive father Martin falsifies a special Longsword intended for Sir Radzig Kobyla, after which Henry promises to deliver it. Unfortunately, the sword is stolen during the raid and puts Henry on a pursuit of revenge. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Hennry continues that story and gives Henry an opportunity to accurately acclaim his revenge at Sir Istvan Toth and pick up his father's sword.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Henry Blacksmedhing

Of course, even though both of Henry's parents were taken from him in the raid at Skalitz, almost all Kingdom Come: Deliverance The story so far has centered around Martin and left Henry's mother with a minimal exhibition. However, with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2Legacy of the Forge expansion on the horizon, there may be a chance for the series to give Henry's mother the attention she deserves. Since Legacy of the Forge aims to take players back to Martin's early days as a blacksmith, it would be a great opportunity to shed some light on Henry's mother, maybe even give her a name in the process.

Legacy of the Forge should finally address Henry's mother

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 increases tourism

It lacked the paragraph in Henry's story

From opening hours for the first game, players meet Henry's father and see his influence over Henry's early life. His mother, on the other hand, is basically treated as a side character, even though her death was a great variable in Henry's quest for revenge. She does not get a name, nor a backstory, and it is not mentioned to her beyond the fact that she exists. With how committed Kingdom Come: Deliverance Is to realism and history, it is strange to say that Henry's mother would be left out like this. In an attempt to fill that void, the fans have speculated in the story of Henry's mother, with the most popular theory is that Henry is the illegitimate son of Lord Radzig, born from an unspoken romance or volatile business with her.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Town Square

If it was enough for the first game to leave Henry's mom in the dust, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues to omit her and designate it as a deliberate choice that may have been made to stay focused on the sequel's political story. On the other hand, it may be that the series has left her from history up to this point to save it for a moment where it can be most relevant, most groundbreaking and most influential. Legacy of the Forge may be that moment.

How the inheritance from the blacksmith can fill the gap

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2Legacy of the Forge DLC is already positioned to go through Henry's roots, with an emphasis on rebuilding his father's blacksmith. Although there will obviously be a focus on his father throughout the story, it is also the perfect opportunity for the series to explore his mother's backstory, potentially through reflections, revelations and flashbacks. Perhaps Henry finds an old letter hidden in the forge of the forge, an old ornament with a noble weapon that everyone except confirms the theory of her business with Lord Radzig, or even an unexpected visit from someone who knew her. Even hearing her name for the first time would do her role in Henry's life more than it does now.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Legacy of the Forge Abandoned Forge Smith

Of course this is likely to mean much more for hardcore Kingdom Come: Deliverance Fans who have not only played both games but have also remained invested in overall history. Nevertheless, Legacy of the Forge including Henry's mother in her story can finally solve one of the series' greatest mysteries, finally give players, Henry and Kingdom Come: Deliverancenarrative closure.
