Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is currently half off in several PC dashboards. The ongoing sale marks just the second time the game has been 50% off on any platform, and comes just before Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2s first anniversary.
With an 89 OpenCritic average score and three The Game Awards nominations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the top-rated RPGs of 2025. Since its launch in February, the game has appeared in eight sales, each offering progressively deeper discounts. The trend has so far culminated in a 50% discount on the PC version of the critically acclaimed RPG, which was available between December 13th and January 4th.

On PC, Steam and GOG sales include both digital editions of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. In other words, the biggest savings are reserved for the 50% off Royal Edition, regularly priced at $79.99. For context, when the RPG launched in February 2025, publisher Deep Silver offered a “Gold Edition” that included the base game and a season pass for all future content. Now that the season pass has been fully released, the Gold Edition has been renamed the Royal Edition, although the two are functionally identical.
The comprehensive edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 comes with three DLC packs: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae. Each one introduces a long story and some new characters, with some even new mechanics and locations. Mysteria Ecclesiae is the latest addition to the game, which launched in November 2025. In its central story, Henry goes to a well-respected healer and investigates a brand new location in Sedletz Monastery.
Many reviewers praised Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for its immersive world, story-driven questing, and a huge level of commitment to realistic role-playing. Critics generally agree that the game will appeal to fans of open-world exploration, slow-burn storytelling, and historical fiction. Its user reception has thus far largely matched its high level of critics, as reflected in their Steam user reviews being 93.22% favorable, placing them firmly above Valve's “Very Positive” threshold. In a less competitive year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 may have secured at least one award at The Game Awards, but it lost all three of its 2025 nominations to the indie breakout hit Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
The digital console versions of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not part of the current sale, and both are currently on sale at full price. However, PlayStation Plus subscribers can try the game via a four-hour free trial, provided they pay for the Premium membership. Based on previous price trends, the next discount for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 likely to arrive in early March 2026. That said, it's still unclear when the title might hit a new all-time low.
