Crimson Desert Player discovers disarmed mechanics after 70 hours
Redditor booka-booka_beh-beh shared that 70 hours into the game, they discovered that they can disarm enemies during Crimson Deserts battle. While most players immediately go straight to parrying and dodging, there is actually another option for players using shields. Players should hold L1/LB/Ctrl to block and wait for the enemy to attack. Half a second after doing so, they must press RT/R2/RMB to attack back, which will cause enemies to drop their weapons and be much easier to defeat. While this doesn't work on Elites and bosses, it's still a great way to defeat normal enemies without too much trouble.
The user admitted that many Crimson Desert players will already be aware of this hint, but the fact that the game never actually introduces the mechanic means that it will undoubtedly go unnoticed by many. The caveat is that it requires the use of a shield, so those using two-handed weapons or dual swinging in Crimson Desert will not be able to do this. One user in the thread even said it was so rare that they did it once by mistake, thinking it was a random chance to disarm their opponent.

The thread was filled with lots of tips like Crimson Desert players only discover very deep into their playthroughs. For example, a player with 90 hours of playtime in the game only recently discovered that they can put things on their horse's back. This is equal parts blessing and curse choosing not to give players too much help. While these moments of discovery are great, it can also cause players to miss out on core mechanics for large parts of the entire game.
