Dungeon Inns impending Steam release is celebrated by a launch trailer, which Game Rant can now exclusively reveal. The 86-second video illustrates how Dungeon Inn will revolve around managing a cute facility for adventurers run by ambitious innkeeper Sara. The biggest problem with Sara's business model is that she advertises her inn to everyone, meaning she has a dangerous tendency to rent lodgings to members of two rival guilds at the same time. Making sure these competing groups don't cross paths with each other will be critical to keeping customers happy and profits maximized.
Dungeon Inn's game loop combines several genres
Dungeon Inn will therefore combine elements of management sims and turn-based puzzle games. If things go wrong and a fight between the guests breaks out, players must pick sides and hope for the best. The original version of Dungeon Inn will feature 16 stages, over 80 guests and more than 100 events. This should make it quite replayable from day one, as players will have full control over decisions about when to welcome new guests and when and where to expand or upgrade their fine establishment.
Cat Society estimates that a single playthrough of the daily version of the game will take between five and eight hours. As is usually the case with early asset titles, the South Korean studio will be asking for player feedback that will shape the development of Dungeon Inn move forward. The current plan is for the game to be in early access for about a year before being treated to a full-fledged release around late 2025.
The full version of the game will have a complete story, more events, additional guests and extra missions, among other novelties. In the meantime, Dungeon Inns preview is scheduled to launch on Steam around 2:00 PM ET on November 13th. Thus, the colorful strategy management game will be added to the ever-growing list of cozy indie titles currently in early access.
