Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Offers dozens of unique Pictos for players to experiment with, create various exaggerated buildings for main characters, including Verso, Maelle, Sciel, Lune and Monoco. Without a cap for Lumina points per character, players are free to turn everyone into an OP Killing Machine or an ultimate healer or supporter as well. But when players completely understand the whole picture and the Lumina systems, they can discover that some pictures are not really worth equip.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Best Pictures for Support, ranked
Support Pictos can make Expedition 33 much easier by providing extra AP and granting different buffets. Here are the strongest pictures of this type.
Although almost all images can prove to be advantageous in particular builds tailor -made around them, some Picto's benefits are not as balanced as many other stronger variants, which gives fairly underwear bonuses and takes 10 or more lumina points to be equipped. More often than not, players can easily find an alternative image with a similar but better benefit for the same cost. Below this list will look at some of the worst pictures in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 It is rarely worth the lumina cost they need and is recommended to be avoided.
1
Effective healing
Double all drugs received
On paper, Effective Heal Picto looks promising and doubles all healing received by a character. However, not only effective healing is far too expensive, but its ability is not as strong as it may seem for several reasons.
To begin with, players have many options to heal regularly in Expedition 33Including more affordable, effective Pictos, such as those that provide passive healing every turn or recycle significant amounts of HP with each hit, as base attacks. Secondly, many healing benefits, including shades, restore 100% of a character HP, which makes the bonus with effective healing superfluous. Spending 30 points on Lumina is much more effective on something else.
2
Energy Start IV
On battle start, Grant +1 AP
Energizing Start Pictos is among the best for characters with costly skills equipped, as each level of this image provides an extra action point (AP). However, the cost of each subsequent level rises in particular and adds 5 lumina points to each new image cost. This makes energizing start IV far too expensive for the only AP that it gives, despite its commonly desirable benefit.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Best Pictures for Attack, ranked
Players aimed at creating the most devastating battle buildings in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 should focus on these offensive images.
Unless players are desperate after getting an extra AP at the beginning of the battle or have collected large lumina -points with each character to easily afford the Energiga IV, they should avoid using it because of its unfair high lumina costs and choosing alternative ways to consistently build AP flow rather than rely on a single AP in battle start.
3
Double brand
Land requires another hit to be removed
Double Mark is a solid image variant to keep enemies marked without fear of beating them with potentially wrong character, but its effect is slightly too expensive. When they collect Pictos, players will discover that there are many ways to simply place a new brand on an enemy if needed, either with other images that enable free targets or base attacks to mark enemies or through the many skills available for each character.
Along with its significant lumina cost, this double makes less desirable than it is originally able to work. Overall, it is very easy to maintain marks on enemies if needed in Expedition 33That makes the double mark far too expensive for its mid-level benefit.
4
Burning brand
Apply Burn to hit a marked enemy
Burning Mark shares similar properties and deficiencies with the double brand, and although these two images can work in synergy, even it is not worth the benefits that players get. While additional burns may prove to be very beneficial, players will discover much more efficient ways to stack burns on enemies through less costly images, skills and even weapons.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33: Best pictures that all characters should have
Regardless of a player's building, every party member in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 should have these Pictos equipped for all combat meetings.
In addition, Burning Mark's Perk is somewhat overcomplicated, which requires players to mark an enemy before they meet them – all just to apply a single extra burn. Combining burning brand with double brand would cost 35 lumina points to equip, which is far too much for their combined win.
5
Bigger slow
+15% to slow speed reduction
Generally speaking is slow among the least useful debuffs in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33As in many cases, it is much easier to increase the speed of every character through Pictos than to slow down a quick enemy with a debuff that may require a turn to properly throw. Only this makes bigger slow quite easy to ignore for most possible buildings – but in addition, its speed reduction bonus is quite overwhelming.
Standard slow debuff reduces the enemies' speed by 25%, so getting an extra half of it for 15 lumina points seems quite impractical. To get an advantage in battles against fast opponents, players are recommended to rely on the first strike picture and invest in injuries rather than spend their Lumina points on a chance to slow down the manager via the greater slow ability.
6
Larger shells
+10% to skull injury reduction
- Lumina Diet: 10
- Passive State Boost: Health, defense
- Where to find: Found during the exploration of the Sirene area
Greater Shell is in the same league as bigger slow, a particularly weak image that most players can easily ignore. Although it is at least cheaper than larger slow, its effect is also weaker, which gives only an extra 10% injury reduction on top of the standard shell BUFF's 20% injury reduction.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33: Hardest Optional areas, ranked
These optional areas are the most difficult in Expedition 33, with deadly enemies and managers but offers powerful rewards.
Nevertheless, Greater Shell may prove useful if players are determined to create the ultimate survival Clair Obscur: Expedition 33aims to reduce the damage from even the toughest managers to a minimum. But for that goal, there are many more effective defensive Pictos, such as self -confident or brawl, to name a few. At least larger shells are not completely useless, although it remains among the weakest images in the game.
7
Charging change
Once per lap, grants +10% of a slope loading when applying a buff
- Lumina Diet: 10
- Passive State Boost: Defense, speed
- Where to find: Found during the exploration of the flying manor area
Gradient attacks can be a real ace in the sleeve, which stands like some of the most powerful attacks for each character, so players would certainly appreciate ways to fill gradient charging faster. Although charging change can be used to achieve this, it is among the worst Pictos to do so, given its specific conditions for building a fee and a fairly overwhelming bonus of 10%.
For example, Support Pictos such as charging critical contribution 20% of a fee on critical hits – double the value with simpler conditions, all for the same 10 Lumina points. Although charging change can be used to drive the build -up of the gradient fee to its maximum, it is not worth the trouble of spending Lumina pointing it.
8
Healing anesthesia
Recover 5% health to hit a stunned target
Healing stun is easy among the most overwhelming images in the entire game, especially considering how late in the game players can get it. This image not only has a fairly specific condition for its healing effect to trigger, but it also gives only 5% HP recovery at hit, which is simply laughing.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Best Pictos for Defense, ranked
Dealing with massive injuries is good, but surviving everything that a manager can throw on players in Expedition 33 is even better.
IN Expedition 33Players have countless ways to heal, either through healing shades with up to 100% HP recovery or through many skills or other images that allow them to heal when handling enemies. For example, with attack lifesteal, players get 15% HP recovery without extra conditions. All in all, it is difficult to imagine a situation where the healing stunning image is worth equiping, although it costs a moderate 10 -lumina score.
