Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is an exciting series that follows brave fighting called Demon Slayers as they fight against Demon King Muzan and his subordinates. To join the Demon Slayer Corps, each candidate must make the physical conditioning before trying to final selection, a rigorous selection process that drives applicants to its limits.

While the final selection is quite tough, many Demon Slayers join the Demon Slayer Corps for the wrong reason or the wrong attitude. Here are some of the characters who should never have become a demon slay.

Ozaki

Low -ranked Demon Slayer who died a horrible death

Ozaki Was an selfless and kind demon -layer selected to fight demons at Mount Natagumo with her squad. But she had the accident of turning into a doll by the spider family's mother. She was too weak to free herself and used to attack everyone who came close to her.

Bring someone with a higher rank! If you don't, I will kill them all! Please!

Ozaki ended dying moments after meeting Inosuke and Tanjiro. She was clearly for underpowered and probably did not have the mental strength to deal with psychologically exhausting situations that required quick thinking.

Murata

Just not done for jobs

Murata is a worried and underpowered demon Slayer who debuts in Mount Natagumo Arc. Although he is easily overwhelmed and has a fragile ego, he has shown that he can continue to fight even when his squad is dried right in front of him.

Murata joined Demon Slayer Corps after the murder of his parents, because he had no family left. While he managed to do it through the final selection, he did not really have the natural talent required to fight demons. Interestingly, he was in the same party as Sabito and Giyu. Almost all demons on the mountain that year were killed by Sabito, as many applicants as Murata never had to fight to serve their place in Demon Slayer Corps.

Aoi Kanzaki

Do not withstand battle

Aoi Kanzaki is a former demon -layer who works at Butterfly Mansion as a helper. She is a trained craftsman and also knows how to do drugs thanks to her training under insect Hashira.

Compared to you I am not so important, so thank you are not necessary. I survived selection due to pure tour. Since then I have been afraid to fight, so I'm a coward.

Interestingly, Kanzaki is a water -breathing user who had passed the final selection sometime before. But because of her uncertainty and fear of battle, she never served as a demon -layer. Kanzaki is more suitable for other roles that she has embraced at Butterfly Mansion and should never even have appeared for the final selection and knows that she detests the battle.

Genya Shinazugawa

Cannot use respiratory style

Genya Shinazugawa is the only demon Slayer in the current generation that cannot use a breathing style. To compensate for this, he uses the repetitive action technology invented by Gyomei Himejima together with demon consumption. While the former is an innovative strategy, the latter is a direct bizarre ability because Genya consumes demon meat to temporarily have demonic properties.

Interestingly, his older brother Sanemi always wanted his brother to start his own family and not get involved in Demon Slayer Corps. His fear was understandable because Genya was seriously disabled to fight demons because of his inability to use respiratory styles. Instead of helping him become a better person, his newfound abilities not only destroyed him more, but also became a serious threat to society after deciding to accept Kokushibo's twisted offer.
