It also claims that players using a 2XP token get more XP than those on standard Double XP, giving the claims extra credibility. Many players responded to CharlieINTEL's tweet claiming to have faced the same issue, with one player claiming prices as low as 1.2x XP. Some replied that they seem to get the full 2x XP rates, meaning it doesn't seem to be a problem for everyone Black Ops 6 player.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Double XP Event does not give 2x XP to some players
This is not the first time this problem has arisen. Players have complained that XP rates are not correct as early as Black Ops 6s first Double XP event, and it appears that Treyarch has yet to address the issue. It's unclear what's causing the problem, but hopefully it's not something that persists throughout the year, as at current prices there are sure to be many more Black Ops 6 Double XP events throughout 2025.
Double XP or not, Black Ops 6 gamers have a lot to look forward to in 2025. It was recently announced that Call of Duty x Octopus game collaboration releases on January 3rd and comes with new Operator skins, weapon designs and more, all based on the popular TV series that recently premiered on Netflix. Treyarch has ensured that there has been no content draft Black Ops 6and there is no reason to believe that it will start in 2025.
