Fans of Naruto comics are well aware of that the duo of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uzumaki is one of the best out there. These two are known to be iconic not only in their own series, but across anime and manga in general. Naruto and Sasuke have a bond that is rare to see in the world Naruto and Borutoand what they have achieved together over the years cannot be replicated by anyone else. Naruto and Sasuke saved the world together in the Fourth Great Ninja Warand more than that, fans also know very well that they continued to fend off massive threats in the Boruto also.
As said, Naruto and Sasuke are no longer around to protect the world. As most fans already know, Naruto Uzumaki was sealed by Kawaki after he lost the power of Kuramawhile Sasuke Uchiha turned into a treewith his DNA used to create Shinju Hidari. In their absence, a new duo has appeared in Boruto seriesand fans know this duo is made up of Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki. Although the two have their differences, fans are well aware of that Kawaki and Boruto are incredibly good together and that they will continue protect the earth just like naruto and sasuke did.

In the early parts of Boruto series, it clearly was Kishimoto wanted Naruto and Sasuke to still be around as defenders of the planet. Naruto Uzumaki ruled as Hokage, while Sasuke protected from the shadows. Together they kept everyone safe from the big threats, like that of Otsutsuki.

In it Boruto series, fans watched the two battle it out Kinshiki and Momoshikiand later down the line, against Jigen as well. They also teamed up against Isshiki, but now the era has changed.
Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki have now taken charge and they are the ones who protect everyone. Although the two have their differences, they know how to work together to confront a common enemy. More recently, the two teamed up to fight Jura, and they did incredibly well together, pushing the monster back.
The new strongest duo will shine in Boruto
Fans can't wait to see more of them
The the future of Boruto series will see these two combine again. The threat from Jura is still imminent, and fans know very well that they would have to work together to beat Jura. Likewise, any other threat, like Akebi, or maybe even another Otsutsuki must be taken down together by these two if they are to protect the world properly.

In fact, Kishimoto and Ikemoto did their best to portray the idea The age of Naruto and Sasuke is over and that it's time for Kawaki and Boruto to replace them. Considering their rivalry and their friendship, there is no better duo in Boruto to replace Naruto and Sasuke, and that's pretty obvious.
Fans absolutely can't wait to see them live up to the legacy of Naruto and Sasuke, even if it's an uphill battle for any duo. Hopefully Boruto and Kawaki continue to impress in the future.
