Blue box Season 1 ended just, and it was one of the most heartbreaking fists in a romantic anime in recent memory, which is exceptionally rare, especially for such a fun and optimistic show. Well, technically it ended up with Taiki and Chinatsu going on on their second date, so if you have sent them all season, the end may not be as bad for you. Taiki gave Hina the cold, hard truth in Blue box Section 24, “A Roller Coaster”, during the training camp. It was also really refreshing because you don't often get a straight rejection scene in an anime, and really not during the first season. Usually, the protagonist would continue to continuously go back and forth between their love interests, or they would only choose one without giving the other any proper closure. Sometimes they would keep it vague for several seasons before they finally come up with a conclusion, but not with Blue box. Directness, the background music that started playing (Shade of Love by Takashi Ohmama), the beautiful visuals and the anxiety behind Hina and Taiki's voices make this one of the best rejection scenes ever. Or one of the worst; Depends on how you really look at it.
