Black Ops 7's most OP gun makes a wildcard essential

Call of Duty has had more than its fair share of overpowered weapons at launch. Call of Duty: Black Ops'FAMAS, Modern Warfare 2's Akimbo Model 1887s, and World at war's MP40 were all pretty much blown up during their respective titles' launch windows, and now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 puts forward his own overpowered day-one weapon.

As fans have long expected, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7s launch day meta is dominated by assault rifles and SMGs. The Dravec 45 and Ryden 45K both offer an astonishing rate of fire, while the M15 Mod 0 and Peacekeeper Mk1 are ideal all-rounders. But there is one OP in particular Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 weapons that are so good that they warrant the use of a specific wildcard.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's M10 Breacher makes overkill a necessity

M10 Breacher in Black Ops 7 via Treyarch / Call of Duty

Available from the start and customizable from level 4 onwards, the M10 Breacher is arguably the most powerful shotgun in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7and arguably one of the best shotguns in the Call of Duty history. What sets the M10 Breacher apart from the later unlocked Echo 12 is its charge function, which allows players to hold down the trigger to concentrate fire and reduce the spread of a burst. This burst almost always results in a one-shot kill at close range.

However, despite its undeniable stopping power, the M10 Breacher should not be the player's only primary weapon. Like most shotguns i Call of Duty history, the M10 Breacher is primarily designed for close combat, and its effectiveness drops dramatically at anything beyond that, even with the tighter spread afforded by a fully charged burst. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7s M10 Breacher is best used in specific situations as a secondary weapon, and thankfully there is an iconic one Call of Duty Wildcard that allows players to do just that.

Introduced all the way back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2Overkill Wildcard has been a staple of the franchise since 2012. I Call of Duty: Black Ops 7Overkill is unlocked at level 20, when it can be used by players to equip a primary weapon as their secondary. This wildcard is more important than ever in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7with the M10 Breacher being the ideal secondary weapon for almost any class. Like I said, the best Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 loadouts are those that pair the M10 Breacher with a midrange weapon like an assault rifle or one of the game's better sniper rifles, like the M8A1.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's Best M10 Breacher Loadout

  • Muzzle – Breacher Precision Choke (level 16)
  • Barrel – 17.4″ Redwell-5K Barrel (Level 14) or 19.8″ Bull Barrel (Level 22)
  • Stock – Collapsible stock (level 13) or LW skeleton stock (level 32)
  • Underbarrel – Redwell Dash Handstop (Level 23) or EAM Steady-90 Grip (Level 29)
  • Fire Mod – Pump control rod (level 35)

The best Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 M10 Breacher attachments are those that reduce the weapon's sprint-to-fire, aim-down sights, and reload time, while increasing the weapon's damage output, rate of fire, and accuracy, which all mounts listed above should achieve. When it comes to the best perks to pair with the M10 Breacher, it's essentially up to the player's discretion. That said, the Gung Ho is a good choice for Perk Slot 1, as it allows players to load and fire the M10 Breacher while sprinting. Fast Hands is also a good choice for Perk Slot 2 if players are running an Overkill charge, as it allows them to switch between the M10 and an AR or sniper rifle much faster.
