Black Ops 7 Reveal doesn't sit well with players

This year's annual Call of Duty title is another Black Ops game, Black Ops 7.
The game was revealed at the end of Sunday's Xbox Game Showcase through a pretty stylish movie Trailer that made fans think it was a brand new IP or sequel to an existing game, like Prey.
It turns out that it was Black Ops 7 all the time, which left many disappointed that this was the final in the show, or that such a cool trailer was intended for cod of all things.

If you missed it, Xbox held his own event on Sunday, called the Xbox Games showcase. In it, we finally saw the long-rumored Xbox handler, received confirmation that a new recording of Persona 4 is real and also got words about some new DLC for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

It was all good and good, but Xbox decided to close the show with what seemed to be a brand new IP, or seemingly a sequel to Quantum Break or the evil within, just because it would be revealed as Black Ops 7, this year's annual Call of Duty entry.

To put it easily, the fans were less than impressed, and some were even upset that the final in the show was Call of Duty.

Bamboozled is a great way to put things, as many thought this was the “WOW” message to close the show. One person said they thought it was a change 2, while another thought it would be evil within 3.

It is good that others thought about the same thing, because this author thought it was a Quantum Break sequel and screamed into Thegamer Discord just because it would also be COD.

“There is no way that they got me excited for a cod, until they showed the title card and I fell asleep,” a user chimped.

To be fair, despite fatigue, the trailer looked pretty cool. And if you are a cod fan, especially of Black Ops and its wild lore, you will have discovered that Mason's children are in the same room in which his father was interrogated. Or, the active Camo was part of a blink-and-miss-it shot, which could signal the specialists' return.

“I know Reddit will hate this one, but as someone who returned to COD recently after the latest was good, this trailer was really fun,” added a user. And that was exactly what it was at the end of the day. A fun trailer, although COD may have exceeded its welcome.
