Black Ops 7 Movement Detailed by Treyarch

Since the end of June, fans of the Call of Duty franchis have mostly been convinced that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 would see the return of Jetpacks, something that has not been in the game since at least endless warfare. The proof, a leaked advertising screen dump, was quite convincing, all considered.

Flash until today, and Treyarch really wants you to know that jetpacks simply do not happen in Black Ops 7. In a video that was first discovered by insider games, design director Matt Scronce came in front of the rampant rumors with a very factual statement.

No wall driving, we have wall jumps. I can run up to a wall and I can jump off it, and there are no jetpacks. The technology is not quite there than 2035, and this is where you are in the Black Ops 7 Multiplayer.

It is a bummer for those who hoped to increase around the maps, but SCONCE had a pretty nice return that could take out the knitting.

Black Ops 7 lets you visit some of Black Ops 2's best

At the end of the video, when we answer the question, “Can we get some Black Ops 2 removals that we haven't seen before?” The director said, “Yes, you can.”

As Insider Gaming noted, the following three Black Ops 2 maps will be remastered and available at launch: Raid, Express and Caprated. Of course, Nuketown has not been confirmed, but does anyone really doubt their return?

It leaves the opportunity to get maps like turbine or plaza either at launch or down the line. Not a bad consolation price in exchange for no jetpacks.
