This series can mainly focus on its powerful protagonist, Sung Jinwoo, but it still has many other interesting characters, most of whom still have not appeared in Anime yet. Of course not every single Solo department Character must actually be an effective fighter, as many key figures in this series have more of a support role. One of the most remarkable examples of this phenomenon is Norma SelnerWhich is likely to make her anime debut in the very first episode of Season 3.

Selner has a rather interesting role in the world of Solo departmentSee that she is an American upgrader: a person who uses their magical powers to permanently improve the strength of other hunters by 20% or 30%. Her debut marks a significant point in the story, as she tries to upgrade Jinwoo's strength, just to discover that she cannot upgrade him because there is a dark and mysterious secret in his soul. Selner is a very friendly, smart and even ally to many of the world's most powerful hunters, so just just fans will enjoy her presence in the show.

Querehsha

The monarch of plagues (and the queen of all insects)

Three of the monarchs were already introduced in anime (Baran, Raikan and Sillad), which means that the other six will make their animated debut very soon, in the coming seasons. Some of them, however, are much more memorable, interesting and likes than others, with one of the most remarkable as QuerehshaThe monarch of plagues.

Like all other monarchs, she is just supposed to be a boss -like enemy and a major obstacle on Jinwoo's journey, which means that her character is not really so deep or complex. But none of this is important, given how incredibly threatening she actually is. Querehsha's striking design and her ability to manipulate insects and bug -like monsters make her a strength to count on, and her fight against Jinwoo and his shadows (especially Beru, which she tries to control) is one of the best in Manhwa. Compared to the other monarchs, there is no doubt that Querehsha is the one who will gather the greatest the following when she makes her anime debut.

Bellion

The strongest shadow in Sung Jinwoos Army

After meeting Ashborn and accepting his fate as the new monarch of shadows, Sung Jinwoo could be reunited with its predecessor's shadowmé, which was led by Grand Marshal Bellion. Oddly enough, he is the first creature to have his shadow extracted and thus he is repeatedly described as the strongest shadow available. It should be no surprise to learn that he was the right man in the former shadow monarch.

With its narrow armor, majestic four wings and deadly whip words, no one denies that Bellion has one of the best character designs in the entire series. And although he may not have a close relationship with Jinwoo like the other shadows, he quickly turned out to be loyal and powerful enough to be worthy of the Grand Marshal, especially during the last battle against Antares. In addition, his short rivalry with Beru is quite fun. There is no doubt that anime fans who have only had the shadows will blow away by Bellion's introduction in the coming seasons of Solo department.

Pulp

The last villain of the series

On one occasion in the story many characters (especially the monarchs) begin to mention PulpThe notorious monarch of destruction and the king of the dragon. After so much structure and speculation, he finally made his debut on the screen in the last Battle Arc, and he definitely lived up to hype, especially considering that he is technically the last antagonist in the entire series.

Antares is not only extremely powerful on his own, as he is on the same level as Sung Jinwoo at the end of the series, but he can also control an almost infinite army of dragons that can spread death and destruction everywhere. He is an extremely impressive and frightening villain, and his last fight against Jinwoo can end up in one of the most incredible animated battles ever made, as long as A-1 images give their gifted animators enough time and resources to adapt the as faithful as possible.

Ashborn

The original monarch of shadows keeps the secret to Jinwoos forces

Most of Solo departmentThe story is centered on the mystery of the system, because both Jinwoo and the audience constantly wonder what exactly it is, who created it and why it was given him. To make things even worse, defeat the architect who designed the said program left Jinwoo with more questions than answers. Fortunately, the protagonist finally got to meet what is responsible for everything, Ashbornafter he was temporarily killed by the monarchs.

Ashborn gives Jinwoo (and the audience) a long -awaited and demanded explanation for the portals, monsters, hunters and monarchs: it turns out that he is the original monarch of shadows, and he specifically chose him as his ship and successor. His backstory is extremely interesting and tragic, and his extensive flashback sequence is one of the best moments in the whole story. Despite its scary and elegant look, Ashborn is an honest and benevolent warrior whose upcoming introduction to anime will change everything about history and its protagonist.

Sung Suho

Son of the shadow monarch

After struggling for so many years of his young life, Sung Jinwoo was eventually able to restore the entire universe with the cup of reincarnation. In this new timeline he met again with Cha Hae-in and lived a long and peaceful life with her. They even had a son named Sung SuhoAnd his only existence is sufficient proof that Jinwoo succeeded in his goal and managed to use his huge forces for good.

In the last chapters in Solo department Manhwa, readers get to see Suho's adorable interactions with the shadows that helped raise him, and his close relationship with Beru is particularly moving. Of course, he eventually locks his own magical abilities, which unfortunately forces Jinwoo to suppress his son's powers and makes him forget the shadows so that he can grow up as a normal person.

Still, Suho could eventually arouse its powers when the time was right, which binds into the action in the follow -up series, Solo Living: Ragnarok. If all goes well, A-1 pictures will not hesitate to adapt the last chapters in the epilogue arch that revolve around Sung Suho to set the stage for a potential anime adaptation of Ragnarok.
