Nature's snare

Found inside a locked chest in the underground passage

Nature's Snare in Baldur's Gate 3

  • State: 1d8 (two-handed), 1d6 (one-handed), fly trap ability

While this quarterstaff doesn't deal much damage, hitting enemies for a weak 1d8, its main strengths come from its weapon skills. Characters proficient in two-handed melee weapons will have a chance to cast Fly Trap when they manage to hit an enemy.

Fly Trap will trap an enemy in its tracks as long as it is not a plant or beast. This will stop the enemy from attacking allies if they are ranged, and so they will have to try to break away before they can move again.

Pale oak

The protagonist must be a druid and spare Kagha's life

  • Statistics: 1d8 (two-handed), 1d6 (one-handed), the abilities of Faithwarden's Vines and Faithwarden's Stride

Pale Oak is another Quarterstaff that may seem average at first, but it actually has two incredible abilities that a Druid might be tempted to use. The first is Faithwarden's Vines, which makes the terrain difficult to traverse, with it possibly also snaring enemies, and the next is Faithwarden's Stride, which makes the player no longer affected by snaring effects from druids.

Baldur's Gate 3 best one handed weapons

Baldur's Gate 3: Best One-Handed Weapon

If players want a better chance of fighting off the hordes of Absolute in Baldur's Gate 3, then look for these one-handed weapons.

Unlike other weapons mentioned, the Pale Oak can only be obtained by a player who has created a Druid. This is because the player must be able to become believable, so that they can help Kagha. While players may already have disliked Kagha when they first met her, they must research this druid, persuade her, and then spare her life in order to obtain the Pale Oak.

Sickle Of BOOOAL

Bought or looted from Pool Drip The Zealous

  • Statistics: 2d4, BOOOAL's blessing ability

Although this common agricultural tool may look rather unassuming Sickle Of Boooalwhich is a weapon that some players may be interested in. Many of its stats are incredibly average; but it also comes with the buff of Boooal's Benediction, which gives the player an advantage when attacking bleeding targets.

Although players have the chance to defeat Boooal, who is a horrible little Redcap, players can find the Sickle of Boooal by defeating Pooldripp the Zealous. He can be found in Festering Cove in The Underdark as the leader of this strange, murderous cult.

Sussur Dagger

Complete the Masterwork Weapon Quest

  • State: 1d4 + 1, jar
    Quiet
    the goals

As one of the best daggers in the game is Sussur Dagger deserves a mention. It can only deal 1d4 of piercing damage plus one due to its weapon enchantment, but its weapon skill silences enemies, which is something for players to consider.

Similar to the silence spell, an enemy hit by this weapon will be unable to cast spells that have a verbal element. That makes it a good weapon to use against wizards, warlocks, warlocks, or other casting classes.

28

Sussur Greatsword

Complete the Masterwork Quest

Baldur's Gate 3 Sussur Greatsword

  • Statistics: 2d6 + 1, silences enemies on hit

Like the Dagger of Sussur, that Sussur Greatsword does everything the dagger does but better, as it can hit an enemy for 2d6 slashing damage with an additional plus one due to its weapon enchantment. As long as the user is proficient with weapons of war.

Again, the weapon skill on this blade can silence an enemy, meaning they can't cast spells that have verbal elements to them. This is a weapon to bring out when you are primarily facing spells.

27

Clown Hammer

Plundered From Dribbles The Clown In The Circus Of The Last Days

  • Statistics: One-handed damage, 1d8 + 2 (3~10), Two-handed damage, 1d10 + 2 (3~12), ability Grim Irony

It's a fun twist on the usual Warhammer design, and the only downside is that it's not available until Act 3. When the adventuring party arrives in Rivington, they come across the Circus of Last Days, where they can gather around and watch a show by Dribbles the Clown.

This isn't exactly Dribbles though. It's a doppelgänger, and it may not be the first the party has encountered in Act 3. Once players defeat them, they drop this hammer and everyone's favorite quest, “Dribbles the Clown”, can begin.

26

Sorrow

Inside the hidden vault in the Druid Grove

The Glaive Sorrow in Baldur's Gate 3

  • Statistics: 1d10 + 1, ability Sorrowful Lash (Thorn Whip)

Although a glaive is like a double-edged sword, its power comes with consequences. The base hit in Sorrow is a decent 1d10+1 of slashing damage that is sure to knock the wind out of any enemy it lands on. Sorrow is also given the skill to Ensnaring Strikemeaning any enemies it hits have a chance to be stuck in place.

race mods for BG3

Baldur's Gate 3: Best Races Mods, Ranked

Baldur's Gate 3 introduced some nice race options, but these mods expand the available races to choose from when creating your perfect Tav.

However, this is where the question begins; the user of Sorrow feels guilty after each hit, causing them to take a point of psychic damage. In smaller battles this may not be a problem. But the longer the fight, the more noticeable this damage will appear.

25

The Light of Creation

Released by Bernard In The Arcane Tower

  • Statistics: 1d10 + 1 (+ 1d6 lightning damage)

Although a simple halberd, the The Light of Creation is one of BG3s best weapon for those still in the first act. It doesn't come with any impressive features other than allowing the player to hit an enemy for an additional 1d6 of lightning damage. However, anyone who is not a construct can be stunned when hit by this weapon.

Players may have difficulty obtaining this halberd due to having to kill the construct Bernard in the first act of Baldur's Gate 3. If he gets the answer right, Bernard will leave the player, but the only way to get that halberd is to kill him.

24

Deep Delver

Plundered from Elder Brithvar in Grymforge

  • State: 1d8, the Deep Delver and Dig Deep abilities

As a choice of war, this weapon already has a brutal score with it. The Deep Delver deals 1d8 of piercing damage. Proficiencies in this weapon can also increase the brutality of the player's hits, as they paralyze and weaken enemies.

For a heavier offense, here are which two-handed weapons are the strongest in Baldur's Gate 3.

23

Stillmaker

Found inside the cave during Wyrm's Crossing

stillmaker's dagger

Rogues don't have to use daggers, but there are plenty of impressive options, with some of the best weapons in them BG3 to be Stillmaker. As the name of this dagger suggests, players using this dagger can make their target completely still, as each hit has a chance to stick.

Baldur's Gate 3: 18 Best Feats For Rogues, Ranked

Rogues get two extra feats compared to most classes in Baldur's Gate 3, and choosing the right ones can result in an exceptionally powerful character.

Once paralyzed, the target is open to any hit that is critical, which is especially useful when wielding this double-swing dagger. With another awesome melee weapon, it will certainly increase the total damage to the target and kill them quickly.
