One of the most common themes in anime is fantastic environments where the adventure never ends. Add the elements to a school environment, so you have an anime about a magical academy. Anime Set at Magic Academies Has skyrocketed in popularity over the past decade. These shows show epic stories about heroism, drama and interpersonal relationships.

9 Great anime set in a jungle, ranked
Fans who enjoy jungle settings should look at the following anime.
Fan imaginations can get wild thanks to the many anime show showing Magic Academies, for example The Misfit of the Demon King Academy and The Irregular by Magic High School. But not all magic schoolime Created equally, and there are some that really shine.
We will be strict when it comes to the definition of “magic schools.” For example, IrumaThe setting is specifically called a “demon school”, so it will not be included even though they share much in common with the Magic Academies.

The government's reign
Myanimelist: 6.56
Start things with a sharing magic schoolime, The government's reign Is one of the shows that feels more like an advertisement for the light novel than anything that can and should be enjoyed only isolated. It is not to say that anime is bad, but rather that it can be a little frustrating clock.
Notoriously slow, The government's reign Spend their first five sections set not only their world and concept of magic, but also its definition of a stomach. They are creatures driven by a pursuit of knowledge so that they can be completely consumed by its allure. Although they consist of mostly predictable stories, Anime provides some great world -building throughout her driving, which creates a universe that feels magical but also threatening.
We meet Oliver, a new Kimberly Magic Academy student who is very talented with a sword but also seems relatively unassuming at first. He quickly develops a connection to Nanao, a Samurai with a dark past. They quickly become involved in the school's more cut and dangerous practice, especially when they are in the maze.

Magic-Kyun! Renaissance
Myanimelist: 7
20
Most magic schoolime Focus on measures, as the attitude usually provides many opportunities to showcase unique and visually impressive forces. But not every series goes this way, and Magic-Kyun! Renaissance differs by being a straight up reverse harem. Yes, this is one of the shows that can only be recommended for people who are in that genre, rather than people looking for stories in Magic Academies. Although it is not exactly insignificant, the latter is mostly just window associations, and the focus is on Kohana's troublesome adorable relationships.
Magic-Kyun! Renaissance Located in a school for art, albeit one who uses magic rather than conventional talent. Kohana seems unable to use magic at first, but she is still located to attract attention from the school's most attractive bachelor's degree. Magic-Kyun! Renaissance Do not do much to differ from the reverse harem mass, but it is a decent enough example for that genre.

Villainess Level 99: I may be the hidden boss but I'm not the demon lord
Myanimelist Score: 7.13
Light Magic and Hero Otome game progress as smoothly as it should. At least until Yumial Dolkness, the hidden boss, regains her memories from her past life as a human being and realizes that she is in a game. As someone who always preferred the game's fantasy element, Yumiella decides that she will not let her life, especially her love life, be determined by the game mechanics and decides to level up as much as she can as soon as she can.
In all this, Yumiella made a mistake: she does not properly hide her forces during her registration to the Royal Academy and was revealed to be level 99 in just 15 years, which sends the entire Otome game world to a vanity. With this, Yumiella should be able to determine its fate, right? In the midst of uncertainty, she must now handle constant attention, something she did not negotiate.
Villaness Level 99 Works almost exclusively thanks to Yumiella, which is just a difficult lovely protagonist who fumbles through social situations. The school has almost nothing unique about it, but that kind of acts as anime is at least partly a parody of Otome games iskai stories.

Trinity Seven
Myanimelist: 7.03
I can admit, Trinity Seven is one of these “love or hate” type shows, a statement that can be said for almost any harem under the sun. The 2014 series is even more sharing due to belonging to the “Battle” genre, which is mostly associated with overwhelming martial sequences. Trinity Seven Has quite mediocre action, but it is raised by a decent role by characters and a fun magical school environment.
Arata will be a demon lord, but he must receive a real education to prepare for the role. So he ends with attending the Royal Biblia Academy, who happens to be home to the Trinity Seven. The latter are all girls who are about his age, and Harem Shenanigans begins. Trinity Seven is mainly for people in battle harems, although it is a decent magic schoolime also.

A Returner's magic should be special
Myanimelist: 7.06
A rare anime based on a manhwa, A Returner's magic should be special Has an acquaintance but still solid hook. After failing to save the world, Desir travels back a decade and will hopefully put things right. He registers on a prestigious academy that echoes society's class discrimination, and he intends to tear down these walls by forming a team designed to showcase ordinary people. Because of his experience, Desir focuses on speeding up the growth of its companions, all in an attempt to increase their chances of survival in the future.
A Returner's magic should be special is a rather popular manhwa, and anime has been decent but unspectacular. The main trio for Desir, Pram and Romantica are similar enough, although the latter can be a bit frustrating at first. The animation is mostly only passable, but season 1 was successful enough to guarantee an upcoming sequel.

BACK & TEST: Summon The Beasts
Myanimelist: 7.50 (Season 1)
BACK & TEST: Summon The Beasts may not be the first Magic Academy Anime It will think about, mainly because the show remembers for its exaggerated humor rather than its incorporation of magical or supernatural elements. In addition, Anime has more in common with School Learning and Today's daily life than Demon King AcademyAnd the school's “magic” will mostly short battles that are not so important in the big thing.
Yet, BACK & TEST is one of the more refreshing and memorable stories in one of these types of schools, especially because of its emphasis on the record of life silveriness. Comedy circles strongly around, yes, idiots, so it's a bit of an acquired taste. That said, if humor clicks with someone, they will get a lot out of this series.

Tokyo Ravens
Myanimelist Score: 7.40
Onmyodu is a form of magical technology that is dominant in the world of Tokyo Ravens. These magical powers are seen in the Tsuchimicado family, and all born in this family are intended to have magical powers, except Harutora Tsuchimicado. Harutora has no problem with not having magical powers and is satisfied with his ordinary life until he is at Onmyou Academy With his best friend, Touji.

10 supernatural anime from the 2010 century that is underestimated
The 2010 century is a golden age in the anime series, especially when it comes to large supernatural animes. However, these series are grossly underestimated.
Onmyou Academy was introduced to preserve onmyoudou Magical Technique. When he enters school, Harutora has no knowledge of magic, but when Anime progresses he realizes that he has magic in himself, but it was sealed, and soon enough he can break the seal and become very knowledgeable and skilled in the use of onmyodou.

Demon King Academy
Myanimelist Score: 7.33 (Season 1)
In terms of anime about a magical school, Demon King Academy Is up there with the most popular among them, especially its opening season. The series shows the standard trop for a group of heroes with superpowers, but it does it in a way that puts the limelight on more than just the main character. Anime revolves around Anos Voldoad, the most powerful demon in history, which was reincarnated in 2000 years after his death. After resurrecting in a world where its resident's magical ability has decreased, Anos works to regain its position as the most powerful demon lord of Demon King Academy.
Demon King Academy Is a little difficult to rank. Although nothing for new, Season 1 is very fun. Anos is the ultimate OP head, and Sasha and Misha are sufficiently liked because the main supporting characters of history (and lay are also good). However, the sequels are more messy and honestly much worse.

A slightly forgotten 2000s show, Gakuen Alice is well worth checking out if you want a quirkier than average magic schoolime. First, Alice Academy's “Powers” is quite widely defined, which allows a wide range of specialties that range from everyday to the extraordinary. While the Student body's abilities are used for relatively good effect, Gakuen Alice Is primarily a comedy that revolves around the friendship between four characters, all of which are sufficiently liked.
Although they are only 26 sections and barely scratching the surface of the manganese, anime is still a little long in the tooth sometimes, because the writing and tone are quite inconsistent. But at its best, Gakuen Alice is a sweet and surprisingly nuanced story of age.
Narrative follows the show Mikan, a kind -hearted girl who decides to register at Alice Academy to stay with her best friend, Hotaru.
