Fortnitemares 2025 has launched and is bringing a whole host of spooky content for those looking to celebrate Halloween in the game. From many new points of interest on the Battle Royale map, the return of classics like the Witch Broom and the debut of new items like Last Call, to a brand new Halloween-themed Reload map called Nitemare Island, there's plenty to jump into.
Of course, Fortnite's The Fortnitemares event also brings with it a new set of skins and cosmetics, arguably the biggest collection of any event yet. From seeing the Mystery Inc. team in-game to popular slasher icons like Ghost Face, Epic Games has really gone all out when it comes to really cool skins. Here are just a few of the best that will debut with Fortnitemares 2025.
Ghost face

If players really want to get into the spooky spirit for Halloween in Fortnitethen going with Ghost Face might be the way to go. Ghost Face is the popular slasher icon from Scream franchise, and his skin in Fortnite are both fantastic and true to character.
With an all-black mantle that is torn near the bottom and his signature ghost maskjump out at players like Ghost Face is sure to deliver some scares. What's more, players can too pick up his trusty hunting knife like a pickaxecompletes the look completely.
Jason

If a slasher icon wasn't enough, Epic has also brought in another fan-favorite horror movie character, one who Friday the 13th fans will want to grab before he leaves the store for good. This is, of course, Jason, the terrifying undead antagonist of the franchise.
With his signature hockey mask and rugged clothingJason is a great skin to rock for Fortnitemares and definitely one of the standout additions to the 2025 lineup. For players who want to complete the set there is also a trio of picks to collect: his axe, machete or both at the same time. These can be purchased together in the complete package or separately.
Red Ruin Joni

Next up is Red Ruin Joni, one of three skins included in the High Stakes Nitemares Bundle. Many players may already be familiar with Joni, a character who has both a Crew Skin and an additional outfit as part of the High Stakes Club Bundle. Red Ruin Joni acts as the third skin, and it's definitely a good one.
With Fortnitemares filled with collaborations, it's nice to see original skins make it into the mix as well. On top of the skin itself, player get the Red Wings back bling to complete the vampire look, and can even choose to remove the bat ear wings if they don't quite suit their style. Also, if players just want to pick up the skin on their own, it will only cost 800 V-Buckswhich is an absolute steal.
Scooby-Doo

Scooby-Doo may have been the last character players expected to see cross over into the world of Fortnite for Halloween, but the beloved character has made his debut alongside the rest of Mystery Inc. Many wondered how a Scooby-Doo costume would even work, but of course Epic outdid themselves.
Scooby-Doo in Fortnite is absolutely hilarious fun, with one art style that blends in pretty seamlessly with the rest of the game while still looking like the characters fans of the show know and love. He also has a glowing skeleton costume for Halloween, along with an extra cel-shaded style that gives him a more cartoonish look.
Huggy Wuggy

Fans may have to wait quite a while before getting their hands on one Five Nights at Freddy's skin inside Fortnite. But for Fortnitemares 2025, they can play as another popular toy mascot from a separate horror game. This is of course from Huggy Wuggy Poppy Playtime.
Huggy Wuggy is definitely one of the scariest skins to get into Fortniteand one that is sure to scare off some players. With his signature blue look and sharp-toothed grinhe fits the horror theme perfectly. What's more, players can too get Grab Pack back bling, Ready to Pop emote and Slappy Sledge pickaxe by buying the whole package or downloading them separately.
The Dark Maw

Back to Fortnite's original design now with The Dark Maw, an outfit that connects Fortnite's long list of knight skins. In fact, this skin is similar to the Black Knight from the original Battle Pass, only with a few differences: the gaping mouth in the middle with rows of sharp teethand the glowing reactive eyes on the chest plate.
The Dark Maw is a seriously creative skin amongst a range of crossovers and collaborations, and it's definitely one worth securing for Fortnitemares 2025. Paired with Mawblade pickaxe and Maw's Minic back blingboth of which feature the same terrifying, sharp-toothed black design, the players themselves have an epic set-up.

A big event wouldn't be complete without a new Peely skin, and Fortnitemares 2025 just so happens to be bringing one of the best versions of Peely to the game. The Final Peel is a skin that many players may have already seen before its Item Shop release date, which he appears as one of the chiefs in K-Pop Demon Hunters Demon Rush LTM.
Final Peel gives players a ghostly version of Peely that glows green and features a see-through design that reveals Peely's inner skeleton. Add his Nana Phantom plushie back bling, Bone-Nana Basher guitar and Final Wishbones pickaxeand players have a really cool outfit on their hands.
Lady Calendula

Marigold has finally received another skin variant, and one that comes in time for the Fortnitemares 2025 series. There are quite a few vampire skin already inside Fortnitebut one that turns to gold when you get a rash? Now that's a unique one.
Like Marigold's other varieties, Lady Marigold will turn to gold when players win elimination. However, if players prefer to keep her signature red and black look, they can do so by turning off the reactivity. Paired with her very own cape and double-wheeled golden claws (Batwing Blades), Lady Marigold might just be the coolest skin in this year's Fortnitemares series.
